Doors, windows and door hardware sell on Kaspi at a 12.5% rate including VAT, and the category needs no special permission. The money is lost in logistics. Kaspi Delivery (Kaspi's own shipping service) does not accept PVC windows and doors, window sills, reveals, roller shutters or gates, while a 78 kg metal entrance door ships to another city for 9,917 ₸. Below we sort out what can be shipped and what can't, and run the numbers on nine items, from a handle set to a 112 kg door.
In short
- The whole "Doors, windows, stairs" section has one rate: 10.9% without VAT, 12.5% with VAT.
- Kaspi Delivery carries interior doors and metal entrance doors. It does not carry PVC windows, PVC and fire doors, roof windows, window sills or roller shutters.
- If a door and its frame are ordered together, the weights add up. A 34 kg order ships to a region for 6,553 ₸, while two separate orders would have cost 6,146 ₸.
- You may not include installation or measuring in the product price: the Shop seller rules forbid it explicitly.
- ALTA DOORS and Doordom are on the restricted brands list. If you sell them, you can't create a card without permission.
What the section covers and what Kaspi charges
In the 2026 tariffs the section is called «Строительство, ремонт → Двери, окна, лестницы» ("Construction and repair → Doors, windows, stairs") (Tariffs 2026, PDF). It holds about three and a half dozen subcategories, and they all share one rate.

There is one oddity. The section is called "Doors, windows, stairs", yet interfloor and attic stairs are not in it. They sit under «Строительные материалы → Лестницы и комплектующие» ("Building materials → Stairs and parts"). The rate is the same, but if you are looking for a category for a spiral staircase in the seller cabinet, don't waste time in "Doors, windows". What Kaspi Delivery won't carry
This is the main fork in the road for doors and windows. The document listing goods that cannot be sent with Kaspi Delivery (PDF) includes these items from the niche:
- PVC windows and PVC doors;
- fire doors;
- roof windows;
- window sills, window reveals and drip caps;
- roller shutters;
- gates and sectional garage doors, barriers;
- interior partitions and interfloor stairs.
Interior doors, metal entrance doors, insect screens and hardware are not on the list. That gives a counterintuitive picture: Kaspi Delivery will take a 22 kg MDF door to Karaganda, but not a light PVC window sill. The document has its own logic, and the drop-off point is not the place to argue about it.
There is also a general rule at the end of the document. Restrictions may apply to goods longer than 3 metres, heavier than 250 kg, bulky goods shipped assembled, fragile goods that need special packaging, and orders with more than 10 bulky pieces. A door with glass is not on the list formally, but it falls under "fragile". Before the first shipment, ask your drop-off point whether they will take it. Each point has its own size and weight limits, shown on the map of drop-off points when you tap the dot (q3047, updated Jan 22, 2026).
How to sell windows and sills without Kaspi Delivery
There are two options. You can deliver within your city yourself: «Моя доставка» ("My delivery") is switched on in the warehouse settings, and the order must be delivered on the day it is received or the next business day (q2272, updated Sep 26, 2025). Or you can hand orders out from your warehouse as pickup. How to set up both is covered in our articles on own delivery on Kaspi and warehouse and pickup on Kaspi.
The temptation is understandable: the sill is light, and an interior door box is right there. Don't. The rules forbid putting goods into an order that don't match the product card, and declaring a weight and size that don't match the item (q1342, updated Sep 30, 2026, clause 1.11). For a violation, Kaspi can delist your goods or restrict access to its services.
Installation, measuring and made-to-measure windows
Window sellers are used to selling a service rather than a window: measuring, manufacturing, installation. On Kaspi that model runs into two clauses of the rules.
The first is clause 7.1: a seller may not include additional services in the product price (q1342). A price like "window with installation, 95,000 ₸" falls under the ban. The card sells the window, and you arrange installation outside Kaspi if the buyer asks for it. Raising the window price to quietly cover installation isn't a good idea either: a buyer who doesn't need installation overpays, and you lose the top spot in the product card (the single shared listing where all sellers of an item compete) to those who sell without it.
The second is clause 1.10: you may not list goods that are not in stock, except as a pre-order. A window you order from the factory after payment is either a pre-order or a violation. For standard sizes (say, a 1,200 × 1,400 mm window), it's simpler to keep stock in the warehouse and sell it as a regular product.
One size, one card
Kaspi allows several sizes in one card only for "Clothing" and "Footwear" (q3554, updated Feb 23, 2026). An 800 and a 900 mm door, left-hand and right-hand, with and without a threshold — all separate cards. After a month, a card's main attributes can no longer be changed. Enter the leaf width, opening side, thickness and material right away, and check them against a sample in the warehouse, not the supplier's price list.
If you already have duplicates of one model, they can be merged. Kaspi merges goods that match by brand, category and main attributes (q5146, updated Jul 23, 2026).
Brands and bans
On the restricted brands list as of Nov 8, 2026 (PDF), the door brands we found are ALTA DOORS and Doordom. For hardware and tools, Bosch, Makita and ЗУБР (Zubr) are there too. The list is long and gets updated, so rely on the seller cabinet: if a brand is restricted, a document form appears when you create the card. You'll need a letter from the rights holder, a purchase agreement, invoices and payment proof for the last 90 days, and at least 10 units of the brand (q2618, updated Jul 10, 2026). The "Doors, windows, stairs" section itself is not among the restricted categories (q2224, updated Oct 5, 2026). More in our article on brand restrictions on Kaspi.
Used goods and counterfeits are banned (q3904, updated Jan 16, 2026). A showroom door that visitors opened for a month can't be sold as new either: Kaspi bans unpacked goods used for demonstration (clause 3.2 of the rules).
The math: from a handle to a 112 kg door
A hypothetical example, not a client case. We made up the prices, purchase costs and packaging, and we ignore taxes. Kaspi Delivery tariffs apply from Jan 1, 2026 (q2288, updated Jun 16, 2026); the table already includes 16% VAT.
We won't retell the whole grid; for doors, three things are enough. While the order is under 10,000 ₸, Kaspi looks at the amount: handles for 4,400 ₸ ship to a region for 231 ₸, a lock for 8,400 ₸ for 927 ₸. From 10,000 ₸ the weight counts, and a door gets more expensive in steps. A 12 kg frame-and-casing set is 1,971 ₸, a 15–30 kg leaf is 4,175 ₸, then 6,553 ₸, 9,917 ₸ and 13,919 ₸ for anything over 100 kg. Within your own city almost everything is about half the price: the same interior door costs 2,667 ₸.

Own delivery of a window at 8,000 ₸ is also an assumption: a truck with a glass rack and one loader. Plug in your own figure.
The minimum price formula is (purchase + delivery + packaging) ÷ (1 − rate). For the metal door to a region: (104,000 + 9,917 + 2,500) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 133,048 ₸. For the interior door to a region: (24,000 + 4,175 + 900) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 33,229 ₸. Below these prices an order to another city loses money even before taxes. A door and a frame in one order
A buyer puts an interior door (22 kg) and a frame-and-casing set (12 kg) into the cart. The order weighs 34 kg, and delivery to a region costs 6,553 ₸. As two orders it would have been 4,175 + 1,971 = 6,146 ₸. That's 407 ₸ on every set. Not much, but it belongs in the frame price: calculate the minimum price of the set by total weight, not item by item.
Each part of the set travels in its own packaging with its own waybill. You enter the number of boxes in the «Количество мест» ("Number of pieces") field when packing the order (q3043, updated Aug 22, 2024). If you declare one piece and hand over two, the second may be refused.
The 30 kg step
An interior leaf with glass in sturdy packaging often weighs around 30 kg. A 22 kg door goes to a region for 4,175 ₸, a 31 kg door already for 6,553 ₸, and the same 38,000 ₸ door leaves you 1,797 ₸ instead of 4,175 ₸. Weigh the packed leaf before you set the price. If a model sits right on the boundary, lighter packaging is sometimes enough: cardboard with corner protectors instead of a wooden crate.
Entrance doors and the 100 kg threshold
A 78 kg metal door brings 19,062 ₸ on a same-city order and 13,958 ₸ on a regional one. The 5,104 ₸ difference is entirely delivery. A 112 kg thermal-break door is already in the "over 100 kg" step, which is 13,919 ₸ to a region. If your minimum price is based on delivery within your own city, you silently lose that difference on every regional order.
Packaging, damage and returns
A door with a mirror, stained glass, a leaf with a glass insert — all of it goes through sorting together with bags of cement. If the packaging breaks the rules, Kaspi may refuse compensation for damage (q2296, updated Nov 5, 2025). Such goods need a «Осторожно! Хрупкое» ("Caution! Fragile") sticker, sharp edges are covered with cardboard or foam, and the packing is filmed with date and time (packaging instructions, PDF). The video comes in handy when a door arrives with a dent.
If an item is damaged during Kaspi Delivery, a claim is filed within 10 calendar days for city delivery and 45 days for delivery across Kazakhstan (q2306, updated Nov 25, 2025). Compensation is 10%, 30% or 100%. A crushed box corner with an intact door is 10%. A dent on the face of the leaf is already 100%, but then you must keep the door for a month for the courier company.
A buyer can return an unused door within 14 days and a defective one within 30 days or the warranty period (q2269, updated Sep 21, 2026). A typical story: a door comes back with hinge holes drilled. Those are installation marks, and you are entitled to refuse the return, while the buyer can dispute the refusal within three days (q2277, updated Nov 27, 2024). Common mistakes when selling doors and windows on Kaspi
- A PVC window is listed for all of Kazakhstan. Kaspi Delivery doesn't carry it, and the first order from Shymkent will have to be cancelled. What cancellations cost you is covered in our article on order cancellations on Kaspi.
- Installation is "baked into" the door price. That breaks clause 7.1 of the rules. On top of that, you lose the top spot to those who sell without installation.
- The entrance door's minimum price is based on your own city. On a 60–100 kg door, every regional order brings 5,104 ₸ less.
- A "door + frame" set is priced part by part. Together they move into the 30–60 kg step, and delivery costs 407 ₸ more.
- Left-hand and right-hand doors are in one card. The buyer gets the wrong side, and after a month the attribute can't be fixed.
- Made-to-measure windows are sold as in-stock goods. The rules allow listing out-of-stock goods only as a pre-order.
- A glass door shipped without a packing video. In a damage dispute you have no way to prove the glass was intact.
Checklist: doors and windows on Kaspi
Start by splitting your range into two columns. The first holds what Kaspi Delivery carries: interior and metal entrance doors, hardware, insect screens. The second holds everything PVC, fire-rated, sills, reveals, roller shutters and gates. You sell the second column only in your own city with your own delivery or pickup, and the description says so. Then weigh each packed door: whether it falls into 15–30 or 30–60 kg determines the minimum price.

- [ ] The drop-off point near your warehouse accepts doors of your size.

The cards for popular locks, handles and interior doors have several sellers, and the price moves every day. What commission does Kaspi charge on doors and windows?
As in almost the whole construction section: 12.5% with VAT, 10.9% without it. On a 6,000 ₸ window sill that's 750 ₸; on a 149,000 ₸ door, 18,625 ₸.
Can a PVC window be sent with Kaspi Delivery?
No. PVC windows and doors, fire doors, roof windows, sills, reveals, drip caps, roller shutters and gates are on the list of goods Kaspi Delivery doesn't accept. They are delivered with your own delivery within the city or handed out as pickup.
Will Kaspi Delivery take an interior door?
It will: interior doors and metal entrance doors are not on that list. A 15–30 kg door ships to another city for 4,175 ₸ with VAT, a 60–100 kg one for 9,917 ₸, if the order is 10,000 ₸ or more.
Can I sell windows with installation on Kaspi?
Kaspi's rules forbid including installation, measuring and other services in the product price (clause 7.1). The card sells the window itself, and the buyer can order installation separately if they want it.
Do I need permission to sell doors on Kaspi?
Not for the section itself; it is not among the restricted categories. Where you can trip up is the brand: ALTA DOORS and Doordom are on the list, and without a rights holder letter and 90 days of invoices you can't create a card for them.
How do I calculate the minimum price for an entrance door?
Take the purchase cost, add regional delivery and packaging, and divide by 0.875. A 78 kg door with a 104,000 ₸ purchase cost: (104,000 + 9,917 + 2,500) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 133,048 ₸; any cheaper, and a regional order loses money.
Can doors of different sizes be combined in one card?
No. Several sizes in one card are allowed only in clothing and footwear, so each width and opening side is a separate card.
