How to sell flowers and bouquets on Kaspi: fresh bouquets with your own delivery, dried flowers nationwide, flower shop brands and the minimum price

Flowers and bouquets on Kaspi sell at a 12.5% rate with VAT, and the category needs no permission. Kaspi doesn't publish separate rules in its Guide for fresh flowers as a perishable product, so logistics decides everything. A fresh bouquet can realistically be sold only in your own city with your own delivery, while dried flowers and preserved roses travel to the regions via Kaspi Delivery without trouble. Below are the sections, delivery times, brands from the restricted list and a calculation that accounts for flower wastage.

In short

  • Flowers, dried flowers, preserved flowers, wedding bouquets and floristry accessories carry 10.9% without VAT and 12.5% with VAT.
  • Cut flowers are not on the "not via Kaspi Delivery" list, but Kaspi Delivery takes two to three days on average to reach regional cities and five to six days to district centres.
  • Own delivery: the order must be delivered on the day it's received or on the next business day, and for orders from 5,000 ₸ the buyer doesn't pay for it.
  • The restricted brands list as of Nov 8, 2026 contains about fifteen flower shop names, from Flowers Almaty to «Цветочник».
  • Build wastage into the minimum price of a fresh bouquet: with 15% wastage, a bouquet with a 7,600 ₸ purchase cost is worth at least 12,733 ₸, not 11,200 ₸.

Where flowers sit and how much Kaspi takes

In the 2026 tariffs (2026 tariffs, PDF), flowers are part of the "Gifts, holiday goods" section. Next to them, in neighbouring branches, there are goods the buyer also calls a "bouquet".

What you sell Tariff section Without VAT With VAT
Fresh flowers and bouquets Gifts, holiday goods → Flowers 10.9% 12.5%
Dried flowers, preserved flowers Gifts → Flowers and bouquets 10.9% 12.5%
Wedding bouquets Gifts → Flowers and bouquets 10.9% 12.5%
Ribbons, mesh, floral foam Gifts → Flowers and bouquets → Floristry accessories 10.9% 12.5%
Edible bouquets, toy bouquets Gifts → Gifts 10.9% 12.5%
Houseplants, artificial plants, vases Home and dacha goods → Interior 10.9% 12.5%
Flower seedlings Dacha, garden and vegetable garden → Seeds, fertilisers and soils 10.9% 12.5%

The rate is the same, so the section affects not the commission but who finds you. Someone looks for a strawberry bouquet from "Edible" ahead of March 8, and for a ficus when furnishing an office. A general overview of the gift niche, the 5,000 and 10,000 ₸ thresholds and bans such as souvenir weapons is in the article on gifts and souvenirs on Kaspi. Here it's flowers only.

Delivery: what's allowed and what's realistic

What Kaspi's list says

The document on goods that cannot be sent via Kaspi Delivery (PDF) doesn't mention cut flowers or bouquets. It does list seedlings of deciduous, fruit, coniferous and flowering plants, but those are garden goods. At the end of the document, though, there is a general addendum: delivery restrictions may apply to fragile goods and to goods that need special packaging. A bouquet in a hat box with water fits that description well, and Kaspi doesn't say in advance how the drop-off point will treat it.

How long an order takes

On average, after handover at the drop-off point, Kaspi Delivery takes 1 day within the city, two to three days to regional cities and five to six days to district centres (q2291, updated Jul 31, 2024). For a rose, several days in a box without water is a bad scenario, and a complaint from the buyer is very likely. For dried and preserved flowers the time doesn't matter: they are made precisely to last for months.

The conclusion is simple. Fresh bouquets go only within your city with your own delivery. Dried flowers, preserved roses in glass domes and accessories can go across all of Kazakhstan via Kaspi Delivery.

Same-day own delivery

"Моя доставка" (own delivery) is enabled in the warehouse settings. The order must be delivered on the day it's received or on the next business day (q2272, updated Sep 26, 2025). The settings have a field «День в день при получении заказа до» (same day for orders received before): the time by which the buyer must place the order to get it today (q2274, updated Mar 3, 2025). For a flower shop this is the key setting. If the florist finishes at 20:00 and the courier needs an hour, set 17:00–18:00, not 21:00.

Money. Delivery of orders from 5,000 ₸ is always free for the buyer, and for cheaper orders you can charge no more than 995 ₸. The courier for a 16,000 ₸ bouquet is your expense. How the coverage zone and compensation work is covered in detail in the article on own delivery on Kaspi. For Express delivery, see the article on Kaspi Express for sellers.

The rules florists break most often

Three clauses of the Shop rules (q1342, updated Sep 30, 2026) apply to flowers directly.

Clause 1.10: you can't list goods that aren't in stock, except as a pre-order. A "51 roses" bouquet with stock of 20, when the fridge holds roses for two bouquets, is a violation. Keep the stock at what the florist can actually assemble today. If you want to take orders for February 14 in advance, that's what pre-orders are for: pre-orders on Kaspi.

Clause 1.9: you can't put extraneous items, coupons or advertising into an order unless they are part of the product's kit. A card with the buyer's message is a common request. So that it doesn't look like an extraneous insert, list it in the kit on the card: "bouquet, wrapping, greeting card". A shop business card with a promo code is advertising, so leave it out.

Clause 3.1: you can't send goods that don't match the order. The buyer ordered white peony roses from the photo, and you replaced them with spray roses because there were no white ones. That's exactly this case. If the variety has run out, it's more honest to cancel with the correct reason or to call with an offer, without giving made-up reasons: the rules forbid asking the buyer to cancel under a false pretext (clause 1.8).

One height, one card

Kaspi allows several variants in one card only for clothing and footwear (q3554, updated Feb 23, 2026). Bouquets of 15, 25 and 51 roses are three cards. 50 cm and 70 cm roses are also different. After a month the key attributes can no longer be changed, so enter the number of stems and the height right away.

Flower shop brands on the list

On the restricted brands list as of Nov 8, 2026 (PDF) we found Ajour Flowers, Art Flowers, Azalea Flowers, Bestflowers, DI-Flowers.by, Dunie Flowers, Family flowers, Flower.kz, Flowers Almaty, Flowers Brand, Kazarin flowers, SS Flowers, Sweetflowers, «Алматы Букет», «Цветочник» and «ЦветМаркет». Judging by the names, these are flower shops, not manufacturers. Kaspi doesn't explain why they are on the list. What matters is something else: you can't create a card under these names without permission.

What this means for you. If you buy ready-made bouquets from one of these shops and want to sell them under its brand, you need documents: a rights holder letter, a contract, invoices and payment for the last 90 days, and at least 10 units (q2618, updated Jul 10, 2026). If you make bouquets yourself, don't put someone else's name in the brand field, even if it resembles yours. More in the article on brand restrictions on Kaspi. The flower category itself isn't restricted (q2224, updated Oct 5, 2026).

Calculation: from a ribbon to a 51-rose bouquet

A hypothetical example, not a client case. We set the prices, purchase costs, packaging, courier cost and wastage rate ourselves and leave taxes out. Kaspi Delivery tariffs come from q2288 (updated Jun 16, 2026), apply from Jan 1, 2026 and include 16% VAT in the table. For fresh bouquets, the "Delivery" column shows our own courier at 1,500–2,000 ₸.

Flowers are light, and below 10,000 ₸ Kaspi charges delivery by order amount: 173 ₸ for 1,000–3,000 ₸, 231 ₸ for 3,000–5,000 ₸, and 927 ₸ to another region for 5,000–10,000 ₸. From 10,000 ₸ and up to 5 kg, it's 1,507 ₸ to another region.

Item Weight Destination Price Commission 12.5% Purchase Packaging Delivery Left over
Floristry ribbon 0.2 kg other city 1,600 ₸ 200 ₸ 550 ₸ 40 ₸ 173 ₸ 637 ₸
Dried flower bouquet 0.6 kg other city 4,800 ₸ 600 ₸ 1,900 ₸ 250 ₸ 231 ₸ 1,819 ₸
Large dried flower bouquet 0.9 kg other city 9,600 ₸ 1,200 ₸ 4,200 ₸ 300 ₸ 927 ₸ 2,973 ₸
Same bouquet at 10,400 ₸ 0.9 kg other city 10,400 ₸ 1,300 ₸ 4,200 ₸ 300 ₸ 1,507 ₸ 3,093 ₸
Preserved rose in a glass dome 1.1 kg other city 18,000 ₸ 2,250 ₸ 9,500 ₸ 400 ₸ 1,507 ₸ 4,343 ₸
Fresh bouquet, 15 roses 1.5 kg city, own courier 16,000 ₸ 2,000 ₸ 7,600 ₸ 700 ₸ 1,500 ₸ 4,200 ₸
Wedding bouquet 1 kg city, own courier 28,000 ₸ 3,500 ₸ 12,500 ₸ 900 ₸ 2,000 ₸ 9,100 ₸
Fresh bouquet, 51 roses 4 kg city, own courier 52,000 ₸ 6,500 ₸ 26,000 ₸ 1,200 ₸ 1,500 ₸ 16,800 ₸

By raising the large dried bouquet from 9,600 to 10,400 ₸, you get only 120 ₸ more. Of the 800 ₸ increase, 100 ₸ goes to commission and delivery rises by 580 ₸. Around the 10,000 ₸ threshold, either stay below it or jump straight to a noticeable amount: add extra stems or a box to the bouquet.

Wastage in the minimum price

The usual minimum price formula is (purchase + delivery + packaging) ÷ (1 − rate). For fresh flowers that's not enough: some roses wilt unsold, and their purchase cost falls on the bouquets that do sell. If wastage is a share d of purchases, the purchase cost of one sold bouquet becomes purchase ÷ (1 − d).

Let's say wastage is 15% (this is an assumption; Kaspi publishes no such data, so use your own fridge numbers). A 15-rose bouquet: 7,600 ÷ 0.85 ≈ 8,941 ₸ of real purchase cost. Minimum price: (8,941 + 1,500 + 700) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 12,733 ₸. Without wastage it would come out at exactly 11,200 ₸, and the 1,533 ₸ difference is money you would lose on every bouquet sold at the minimum. For a 51-rose bouquet: (30,588 + 1,500 + 1,200) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 38,044 ₸ versus 32,800 ₸.

The full economics with taxes is in the article how not to sell at a loss on Kaspi.

Returns and complaints

Kaspi's return periods are general: 14 days for unused goods that have kept their condition and 30 days for defective goods (q2269, updated Sep 21, 2026). The Guide has no separate rule for fresh flowers. Among the reasons for refusing a return, Kaspi lists "the item is not subject to return" with a reference to Article 30 of the Law of Kazakhstan "On consumer rights protection" (q5283, updated Sep 22, 2026). Whether fresh flowers of proper quality count as such goods, check against the law or with a lawyer, not from other people's social media posts.

Flowers that wilted the next day are already a quality issue, and arguing is pointless. The best protection is a photo of the finished bouquet before dispatch and a short care leaflet in the kit. If a seller systematically refuses returns, Kaspi may restrict them up to ending the partnership (the same q5283).

Common mistakes when selling flowers on Kaspi

  1. Fresh roses were sent to a region via Kaspi Delivery. Two to three days on the road, and the bouquet arrives in a state that gets the money refunded.
  2. The "51 roses" listing shows stock of 20. Without the flowers in the fridge, this is a violation of clause 1.10, not marketing.
  3. A business card with a promo code went into the order. Clause 1.9 forbids advertising inserts; list the greeting card in the kit.
  4. The variety was swapped without consent. The buyer received something other than what was in the photo, which violates clause 3.1.
  5. The brand field has another shop's name from the list. The card won't pass without documents, and with fake ones the shop may be disconnected from Kaspi.
  6. The minimum price was calculated without wastage. On a 15-rose bouquet that's 1,533 ₸ on every sale at the minimum price.
  7. The same-day cutoff was set at 21:00. The florist can't make it, the order goes out tomorrow, and the buyer's occasion has already passed.

Checklist: flowers and bouquets on Kaspi

Start by splitting the range by shelf life. Fresh bouquets: own delivery, your own city, a same-day cutoff with time to spare for assembly. Dried flowers, preserved flowers and accessories: Kaspi Delivery across Kazakhstan, packed as fragile. Then recalculate the minimum price of fresh bouquets with your real wastage rate: you can see it in a couple of weeks of fridge logs.

  • [ ] Every bouquet variant (stem count, height, colour) is a separate card.
  • [ ] Stock equals what the florist will assemble today.
  • [ ] The greeting card, if there is one, is listed in the kit.

  • [ ] A photo of every bouquet before dispatch is kept.

How to automate prices for flowers

Cards for preserved roses, dried flowers and popular bouquets often have several sellers, especially before February 14 and March 8. SaleScout's Kaspi bot (a repricing bot) checks prices at intervals from 20 seconds and never goes below the minimum price you set; for fresh bouquets, set it with wastage included. When a competitor raises their price or leaves the card, the bot raises yours too. You can try the bot free for 7 days, no card required. According to a salescout.me snapshot from Nov 8, 2026, plans start at 1,000 ₸ per month for one product; check salescout.me before paying.

Frequently asked questions about selling flowers and bouquets on Kaspi

What commission does Kaspi charge on flowers and bouquets?

12.5% with VAT, 10.9% without it. One rate covers fresh flowers, dried flowers, preserved flowers, wedding bouquets and floristry accessories.

Can a fresh bouquet be sent to another city with Kaspi Delivery?

Formally, flowers are not on the list of goods Kaspi Delivery doesn't accept. But an order takes two to three days on average to reach regional cities and five to six to district centres, so it makes sense to sell fresh bouquets only in your own city with your own delivery.

How do I set up same-day bouquet delivery?

In the "Моя доставка" settings, enter a time in the «День в день при получении заказа до» field. Leave a margin for assembly and the drive: the order must arrive on the day it's received or on the next business day.

Who pays for delivering a bouquet with own delivery?

If the order is 5,000 ₸ or more, the buyer doesn't pay for delivery, and the courier is your expense. For orders under 5,000 ₸ you can charge the buyer no more than 995 ₸.

Do I need permission to sell flowers on Kaspi?

Not for the category. But the names of about fifteen flower shops, such as Flowers Almaty, Flower.kz and «Цветочник», are on the restricted brands list, and you can't create a card under them without documents.

Can I put a greeting card in the bouquet?

Yes, if the card is part of the kit and that is stated on the product card. Kaspi's rules forbid advertising inserts such as a business card with a promo code.

How do I calculate the minimum price for a fresh bouquet?

First divide the purchase cost by (1 − wastage share), then add the courier and packaging and divide by 0.875. With a 7,600 ₸ purchase cost and 15% wastage, you get about 12,733 ₸.
