Retail equipment on Kaspi sells at a 12.5% rate including VAT, and no category permission is needed. The buyers here are entrepreneurs too: they're opening a shop, a warehouse or a pickup point. Scanners, receipt printers and scales go by Kaspi Delivery without any questions. But Kaspi Delivery doesn't carry display cases, perforated racks, slatwall panels or pallets at all. Below: where the line is, which brands are restricted, and seven items calculated in tenge.

- Both checkout electronics and shop-floor furniture go at 12.5%, or 10.9% without VAT.
- Display cases, perforated racks, gridwall panels, slatwall panels and pallets will need your own delivery.
- Xprinter and Mercury are on the restricted brands list.
- A 35 kg metal shelving unit costs 6,553 ₸ to ship to the regions, 3,363 ₸ within the city.
- For entry-level scanners the main danger is the 10,000 ₸ threshold, not competitors.
What the section covers and what Kaspi charges
Kaspi splits retail equipment across two branches (Tariffs 2026, PDF). Electronics sit in «Компьютеры → Электронное оборудование для торговли» ("Computers → Electronic retail equipment"). Shelving, display cases and clothes racks are in «Мебель → Торговое оборудование» ("Furniture → Retail equipment"). The rate is the same.

What can't be sent with Kaspi Delivery
In the document on goods Kaspi Delivery doesn't carry (PDF), the "Furniture" section lists exactly the shop-floor items:
- pallets;
- perforated racks;
- display cases and display cabinets;
- gridwall panels;
- slatwall panels, cross panels, perforated panels;
- reception desks.
The logic is clear: glass, large dimensions, assembly on site. These items need your own delivery, and its cost has to be built into the price in advance. Separately, under "Computers" the list includes keyboard brackets, an unexpected detail that's easy to miss if you sell POS systems bundled with a mount.
General restrictions
For all other categories there's a general rule at the end of the document. Restrictions may apply to goods longer than 3 metres, heavier than 250 kg, large goods shipped assembled, and orders of more than 10 large pieces. Shelving is usually sold disassembled, and that saves the day. An assembled shelving unit or ten sets in one warehouse order is reason to ask the drop-off point first.
Brands and bans
Xprinter and Mercury
In the restricted brands list as of Nov 6, 2026 (PDF) we found Xprinter, one of the best-selling brands of receipt and label printers. Mercury is there too. Cash registers are sold under this name, but the list doesn't say which manufacturer is meant, so check your order when you create the card.
Kaspi accepts brand documents per q2618: a rights holder letter, a purchase contract, waybills and payment for the last 90 days. The alternative is receipts from the brand's official website in the name of the company head, no older than 60 days. In any case you need at least 10 units of the brand. For label printers that's a realistic batch; for cash registers it's noticeable money.
Used goods and display samples
The market for second-hand retail equipment is big: shops close, and shelving and scales are sold at half price. That won't work on Kaspi. Used goods, fakes and replicas are banned (q3904, updated Jan 16, 2026), as are unpacked goods used for demonstration (q1342). Scales from a showroom display are exactly the second case.
The math: seven items and a 35 kg shelving unit
This is a hypothetical example, not a client case. Prices and purchase costs are made up, taxes are not counted. Tariffs are from q2288 (updated Jun 16, 2026), in force from Jan 1, 2026, plus 16% VAT.
How delivery is calculated. If the receipt is under 10,000 ₸, the amount matters: from 5,000 to 10,000 ₸ to the regions it's 927 ₸. From 10,000 ₸ weight matters. Up to 5 kg: 1,275 ₸ within the city and 1,507 ₸ to the regions. From 5 to 15 kg: 1,971 ₸ to the regions. From 15 to 30 kg: 4,175 ₸. From 30 to 60 kg: 3,363 ₸ within the city and 6,553 ₸ to the regions.

Minimum price: (purchase cost + delivery + packaging) ÷ (1 − rate). A 35 kg shelving unit to the regions: (30,000 + 6,553 + 800) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 42,689 ₸. Label printer: (26,000 + 1,507 + 300) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 31,779 ₸.
The 30 kg line
Look at the shelving. The same unit at the same 48,000 ₸, but 28 kg versus 35 kg, and to the regions the shop keeps 7,025 ₸ versus 4,647 ₸. The 2,378 ₸ difference went entirely to delivery. Metal shelving is often sold as a set: uprights, shelves, fasteners. If a 35 kg set can honestly be split into two cards, for example "section" and "extra shelves", each one falls into a cheaper band. But the card specs and the real parcel weight must match: Kaspi bans declaring weight and dimensions that don't match the goods when handing them over for delivery (q1342, point 1.11).
A scanner at the threshold
A 1D scanner at 9,900 ₸ ships to the regions for 927 ₸ and leaves 1,785 ₸. If we raised it to 10,200 ₸, delivery would rise to 1,507 ₸ and the shop would get less. Entry-level scanners often cost right around 10,000 ₸, and it's easy to get it wrong by a couple of hundred tenge. If you want to raise the price, raise it by at least a thousand at once, or better, move to a 2D model: its price is higher and the threshold question no longer arises. Buyers opening a pickup point often take a scanner and a printer together, and that order goes over 10,000 ₸ anyway.
A display case with your own delivery
We didn't put a display case in the table: there are no Kaspi Delivery tariffs for it, and each shop calculates its own delivery. But the formula is the same; you just use your own cost instead of the Kaspi tariff. A hypothetical example: a display case at 120,000 ₸, purchase cost 80,000 ₸, your own delivery with movers within the city 8,000 ₸. Commission is 15,000 ₸, and the shop keeps 17,000 ₸. Minimum price: (80,000 + 8,000) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 100,571 ₸.
The catch is that your own delivery to another city can cost several times more, while a buyer from Shymkent sees the same price as a buyer from your city. There are two ways out. You can limit your own delivery zone to your city only. Or you can raise the price so it covers the most expensive route. With your own delivery, Kaspi bans refusing door delivery if a house number is given and demanding extra payment for carrying a large item upstairs (q1342, section 2). So build the movers into the price too.
City and regions
For shelving the gap between city and regions is 3,190 ₸. If you calculate the minimum price based on your own city, a shelving unit to Atyrau sells with almost no profit. For light electronics the gap is smaller, 232 ₸ for the 2D scanner, but its buffer is smaller too.
The product card, returns and damage
Scanners are chosen by code type (1D or 2D), interface and cable; scales by weighing capacity; shelving by height, load per shelf and number of shelves. Main characteristics can't be changed once the card is more than a month old (q3554, updated Feb 23, 2026). A mistake in the shelf load costs you a new card and lost reviews.
Returns follow the general rules: 14 days for a working item that still looks new, 30 days for a faulty one (q2269, updated Sep 21, 2026). A printer that has already printed can't be returned "as new". If an item comes back with signs of use, the seller can refuse, and the buyer may dispute the refusal within 3 days (q2277).
Damage during Kaspi Delivery is grounds for a claim within 10 days for city delivery and 45 across Kazakhstan (q2306, updated Nov 25, 2025). A bent shelving upright is more likely 30%: "rear or side parts damaged". Kaspi treats shelving heavier than 20 kg as a large item and recommends five-layer corrugated cardboard (how to pack an item, PDF).
Common mistakes when selling retail equipment
- A display case handed to Kaspi Delivery. It won't be accepted, you'll have to deliver it yourself, and you didn't build your own delivery cost into the price.
- Xprinter without brand permission. The batch waits while you collect letters and 90 days of waybills.
- Scales and shelving "from a closed shop". Used goods are banned on Kaspi.
- The shelving set's weight wasn't checked. 35 kg instead of 28 kg means minus 2,378 ₸ on every order to the regions.
- Understating weight when handing over for delivery. The seller rules ban this directly.
- A scanner raised across the 10,000 ₸ threshold by 300 ₸. Delivery went up by 580 ₸.
- A shelving minimum price based on your own city. Orders to the regions bring almost no profit.
Checklist before launching retail equipment
The buyers here are entrepreneurs themselves and count money carefully. Go through the list before you list the first card.
- [ ] Display cases, racks, panels and pallets: your own delivery, its cost in the card price.
- [ ] Xprinter and Mercury checked against the list, brand documents collected.
- [ ] Used goods and display samples are not listed for sale.
- [ ] Every shelving set weighed in its packaging.
- [ ] Scanner prices near 10,000 ₸ recalculated with delivery.
- [ ] Minimum price calculated using delivery to the regions.
- [ ] Code type, load and dimensions in the main characteristics.
- [ ] Shelving packed in five-layer corrugated cardboard.
