Motorcycles and motorcycle gear on Kaspi sell at a 12.5% rate including VAT. Helmets, jackets, gloves and parts can be listed without category permission, while motorcycles, scooters, electric scooters and electric motorcycles only with it. For vehicles Kaspi asks for a supply agreement, a vehicle passport and, where the law requires it, a certificate and a vehicle type approval (OTTS). Below: what you need to have on hand, which brands are restricted, and seven items calculated in tenge.
In short
- The whole «Мототехника» (Motor vehicles) branch, from a motorcycle to riding goggles, goes at 12.5% with VAT, 10.9% without VAT.
- Motorcycles, scooters, electric scooters and electric motorcycles are on the list of restricted categories; gear and parts aren't.
- Yamaha, BMW, DUCATI, Polaris, Racer and «УРАЛ» (Ural) are on the restricted brands list.
- A motorcycle over 100 kg goes to another city for 13,919 ₸, which isn't much against the price of the vehicle. The money here is eaten by documents and installments.
- Gear sits in «Автотовары» (Auto goods), not in «Одежда» (Clothing), so sizes in the product card need separate thought.
How the «Мототехника» branch is organized
In Kaspi's tariffs (Tariffs 2026, PDF) motorcycles and everything that goes with them sit in «Автотовары → Мототехника» (Auto goods → Motor vehicles). The rate is the same everywhere.

Motorcycle tires sit in «Автотовары → Шины» (Auto goods → Tires), while snowmobiles and motorized towing sleds sit in «Спецтехника» (Special vehicles). The last two have a separate problem: Kaspi Delivery doesn't carry them at all (PDF). Permission for vehicles
The list of restricted categories (PDF) has four items in the «Автотовары» section: motorcycles, scooters, electric scooters and electric motorcycles. The form for documents appears in the seller cabinet when you start adding such an item.
What documents Kaspi asks for
For the group «Мотоциклы, скутеры, мопеды, квадроциклы» (Motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, ATVs) the Kaspi Guide (Kaspi's official help center) lists (q2224, updated Oct 5, 2026):
- a supply agreement with the supplier or a contract with the manufacturer;
- a vehicle passport or another manufacturer's document that shows the type, purpose, specifications and classification of the vehicle;
- an EAEU certificate or declaration of conformity, if the law requires it;
- OTTS, the vehicle type approval, also where the law provides for it;
- a waybill and payment documents.
Kaspi may request the documents again, and forged papers can lead to disconnection from the Shop. Each seller's case is decided individually.
The nuance with ATVs and mopeds
Here two Kaspi documents say slightly different things. The PDF list of restricted categories has no ATVs and no mopeds. But in the Kaspi Guide, where the documents are described, ATVs and mopeds are in the same group as motorcycles. We would go with the strict reading: if you bring in ATVs, prepare the same package as for motorcycles. You'll need the manufacturer's passport and the supply agreement anyway if moderation asks what kind of vehicle it is.
Restricted brands
In the restricted brands list as of Nov 7, 2026 we found Yamaha, BMW, DUCATI, Polaris, Racer and «УРАЛ». Yamaha, BMW and DUCATI make not only vehicles but also branded gear. The restriction applies to the brand as a whole, so a jacket or gloves with their mark will also need documents.
Kaspi describes brand documents in q2618: a letter from the rights holder, a purchase agreement, waybills and payment for the last 90 days showing the trademark. If you buy on the brand's official website, receipts in the name of the company head, no older than 60 days. In any case you need at least 10 units of the brand. For helmets that's an ordinary batch; for motorcycles it's serious money that will be frozen until the first order. More in the article brand restrictions on Kaspi.
Kaspi bans used goods, counterfeits and replicas (q3904, updated Jan 16, 2026). Motorcycle gear has a lot of replicas: helmets "styled after a famous brand", jackets with someone else's patches. Such items won't get through on Kaspi, and a used "one owner" motorcycle even less so.
The math: from gloves to a motorcycle
This is a hypothetical example, not a client case. We made up the prices, purchase costs and packaging, and left taxes out. Rates are from q2288 (updated Jun 16, 2026), in effect since Jan 1, 2026, in the table with 16% VAT.
How delivery is calculated. For a receipt from 5,000 to 10,000 ₸ to another city, 927 ₸. From 10,000 ₸ the weight decides. Up to 5 kg to the regions, 1,507 ₸. From 5 to 15 kg, 1,971 ₸. From 60 to 100 kg, 4,813 ₸ within the city and 9,917 ₸ to the regions. Over 100 kg, 13,919 ₸ to the regions.

For vehicles we didn't list packaging separately: the supplier usually delivers them in a crate, and the cost sits in the purchase price.
Minimum price: (purchase cost + delivery + packaging) ÷ (1 − rate). A helmet to the regions: (24,000 + 1,507 + 400) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 29,608 ₸. A motorcycle to the regions: (1,180,000 + 13,919) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 1,364,479 ₸.
What eats the margin on vehicles
Look at the motorcycle. Delivery of 13,919 ₸ is less than one percent of the price. Commission of 181,250 ₸ is thirteen times more. So the fight over a motorcycle isn't with the delivery rate but with commission and purchase cost. And then there are installments. Kaspi writes that during promotions with 0-0-24 installments (0%, no down payment, 24 months) the commission may change according to the promotion terms (q1344, updated Jan 6, 2026). People often buy a vehicle costing over a million exactly on installments. Before joining a promotion, open its terms in the cabinet («Маркетинг → Акции», "Marketing → Promotions") and recalculate the motorcycle row with the new rate. Gear earns more often
A motorcycle jacket at 65,000 ₸ leaves 13,068 ₸, which is 20% of the price. A motorcycle at 1,450,000 ₸ leaves 74,831 ₸, about 5%. A jacket is easier to buy in a batch, and it doesn't need a vehicle passport or garage space. If you're just entering the moto niche, it makes more sense to start with gear and parts and add vehicles once the documents for them are ready.
The 5 kg step for cases
A 4.5 kg case and a 7 kg case are almost the same for the buyer. For you the difference is 464 ₸ on every regional order: 1,507 ₸ versus 1,971 ₸. Side cases are often sold as a pair, and a pair is almost always heavier than 5 kg. That's fine; just calculate the minimum price by the real packed weight of the pair.
Shipping vehicles: weight, size, assembled state
Motorcycles aren't on the list of goods Kaspi Delivery won't carry. But at the end of that document there are general restrictions: items longer than 3 meters, heavier than 250 kg, bulky items shipped assembled, and orders of more than 10 bulky pieces. A light motorcycle or pit bike in a factory crate usually fits. An assembled heavy motorcycle, a cruiser over 250 kg or an ATV is already a question for the drop-off point. Ask before you list the card for the whole of Kazakhstan.
If Kaspi Delivery doesn't fit, there's your own delivery. Its cost goes into the card the same way as the Kaspi rate. With your own delivery, Kaspi prohibits refusing door-to-door delivery if a house number is given (q1342, updated Sep 30, 2026, section 2). How to set it up is in the article my delivery on Kaspi.
Liquids are a separate story. A motorcycle with oil and gasoline in the tank carries flammable liquids, and they're also in the general restrictions. Ship vehicles with an empty tank and check with the supplier whether oil has been filled.
The product card, sizes, returns
Gear sizes
The Kaspi Guide says that in the «Одежда» (Clothing) and «Обувь» (Footwear) categories you can list several colors or sizes in one card (q3554, updated Feb 23, 2026). Motorcycle jackets, boots and helmets sit in «Автотовары». Whether you get a size choice within one card, you'll only see when creating it. If not, you'll have to create a card for each size. Then each will have its own reviews and its own competitors, and the minimum price will have to be calculated for each.
The main characteristics can't be changed once a card is more than a month old. For a helmet that's the size and type (full-face, modular, open-face); for a motorcycle, the engine displacement and vehicle type. A mistake costs a new card.
Returns
General periods: 14 days for an item that wasn't used and kept its appearance, 30 days for a defective one (q2269, updated Sep 21, 2026). A helmet that was "tried on, didn't fit" can be returned. A helmet with scratches on the visor can't: the seller may refuse, and the buyer can dispute the refusal within three days (q2277). A size chart with head circumference in centimeters cuts down on such stories more than any persuasion in chat.
If an item is damaged in Kaspi Delivery, a claim is filed within 10 days for in-city delivery and 45 days across Kazakhstan (q2306, updated Nov 25, 2025). For a motorcycle, a video of packing and unloading is mandatory insurance.
Common mistakes when selling motorcycles on Kaspi
- A motorcycle listed without the document package. The card gets stuck in moderation, and the purchased vehicle stays in the garage.
- ATVs treated as a "free" category. The Kaspi Guide puts them in the same group as motorcycles, and documents may be requested.
- A batch of helmets "styled after a famous brand". Replicas are banned, and the whole batch becomes dead stock.
- A branded Yamaha or BMW jacket listed without brand documents. The restriction covers the whole brand, not just vehicles.
- 0-0-24 installments switched on for a motorcycle without opening the terms. Commission in a promotion may differ from 12.5%, and on a price of a million that's noticeable money.
- A vehicle shipped with gasoline in the tank. Flammable liquids fall under the general delivery restrictions.
- The helmet size not entered in the main characteristics. After a month it can no longer be fixed.
Checklist: motorcycles and gear on Kaspi
The first question is what you sell: vehicles or everything else. For vehicles, collect the documents first, then buy; for gear it's the other way round: check the brand against the list, and you can list. The second question is weight. You need to know it in the packaging, and calculate the minimum price for delivery to another city.
- [ ] Supply agreement, vehicle passport, certificate and OTTS (where needed) are in one folder.
- [ ] Brands are checked against the list: Yamaha, BMW, DUCATI, Polaris, Racer, «УРАЛ».
- [ ] No replicas or used items in the range.
- [ ] Installment terms in the promotion are recalculated for vehicles.
- [ ] The drop-off point has confirmed it will take your motorcycle or ATV.
- [ ] The tank is empty; oil as agreed with the supplier.
- [ ] Size, helmet type and engine displacement are in the main characteristics.
- [ ] A size chart in centimeters is in the description of every gear card.

Cards for popular helmets and gloves usually have several sellers, and the price there changes often.
