Storage systems and organizers on Kaspi sell at a 12.5% rate including VAT, and no category permission is needed. The main difficulty of the niche is that the goods are light, cheap and bulky. A 3,000 ₸ box weighs almost nothing, while a plastic drawer unit takes up half a van. Money here is lost on the 10,000 ₸ threshold, on weight steps and on cracked plastic. Where storage systems sit in the catalog
Kaspi has no single big "Storage" category. Similar goods are scattered across the catalog (Tariffs 2026, PDF), and the rate is the same everywhere.

Why it matters if the rate is the same. A buyer looks for a cosmetics organizer in «Красота» (Beauty), not in «Хозтовары» (Household goods). If you created a clear acrylic organizer as a "storage box", it may not appear in the results where people look for it. Brands: IKEA, SPACEO, Xiaomi
In the restricted brands list as of Nov 7, 2026 (PDF) we found three marks that often come up in storage: IKEA, SPACEO and Xiaomi. We didn't find Бытпласт, Martika, Elfplast or Keter in this version of the list. The list changes, so check your purchase when you create the card.
IKEA is a special case: boxes, garment bags and organizers of this brand are often brought back from trips in small batches. That won't work for Kaspi. Brand documents are described in q2618 (updated Jul 10, 2026): a letter from the rights holder, a purchase agreement, waybills and payment for the last 90 days showing the trademark, at least 10 units of the brand. There's also an option for purchases on the brand's official website: receipts in the name of the company head, no older than 60 days, and the goods must already be in your warehouse. A receipt from an ordinary store in a friend's name doesn't meet this condition. More in the article brand restrictions on Kaspi.
A separate note on "IKEA-style". A box that looks like IKEA boxes but has no brand is just a box. A box labeled IKEA that wasn't made by IKEA is a counterfeit. Kaspi prohibits selling and advertising counterfeits and replicas (q3904, updated Jan 16, 2026). Don't put the brand name in the card of a "lookalike" either.
The math: from vacuum bags to a shoe rack
This is a hypothetical example, not a client case. We made up the prices, purchase costs and packaging, and left taxes out. Rates are from q2288 (updated Jun 16, 2026), in effect since Jan 1, 2026, in the table with 16% VAT.
How delivery is calculated. Under 10,000 ₸ the order amount decides: from 1,000 to 3,000 ₸ it's 173 ₸, from 3,000 to 5,000 ₸ it's 231 ₸, from 5,000 to 10,000 ₸ to another city, 927 ₸. From 10,000 ₸ the weight decides. Up to 5 kg to the regions, 1,507 ₸; from 5 to 15 kg, 1,971 ₸. From 15 to 30 kg, 2,667 ₸ within the city and 4,175 ₸ to the regions.

Minimum price: (purchase cost + delivery + packaging) ÷ (1 − rate). A drawer unit to the regions: (14,000 + 1,971 + 400) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 18,710 ₸. A shoe rack to the regions: (28,000 + 4,175 + 800) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 37,686 ₸.
The 10,000 ₸ threshold for sets
A box set at 9,900 ₸ leaves 2,335 ₸. Raise it to 10,400 ₸ and 2,193 ₸ is left, 142 ₸ less. Delivery went up from 927 ₸ to 1,507 ₸ because the order moved into the weight grid. In the storage niche, prices are often right around 10,000 ₸: sets of three to five boxes, garment bag kits. If you're below the threshold, stay below it, or move above it straight away by a noticeable amount, for example a set of six boxes at 12,500 ₸.
Why small organizers pay better than they seem
A drawer organizer at 4,500 ₸ leaves 1,607 ₸, more than a third of the price. A garment bag at 6,900 ₸ leaves 1,691 ₸, almost the same, though it costs one and a half times more. The reason is the steps by order amount: up to 5,000 ₸ delivery is 231 ₸, from 5,000 ₸ to the regions it's already 927 ₸. For cheap goods this is stronger than any supplier discount. The 5,000 ₸ threshold works just like 10,000 ₸, only with smaller money.
The 15 kg step for storage furniture
A 12 kg metal shelf unit and the same one at 16 kg are almost no different for the buyer. For you the difference to the regions is 2,204 ₸: 1,971 ₸ versus 4,175 ₸. Compare the packed weight of different models before deciding which one to list. Understating the weight at hand-over, though, is not allowed: Kaspi's rules prohibit declaring a weight, volume and dimensions that don't match the item (q1342, updated Sep 30, 2026, clause 1.11).
Delivery: volume, plastic and assembled state
The Kaspi Delivery rate is calculated by amount and weight, but the seller rules also mention volume: the actual parameters of a shipment must not differ from the item's characteristics. A plastic drawer unit shipped assembled is light but huge. The document listing goods that Kaspi Delivery won't carry (PDF) has a general rule: restrictions may apply to bulky items shipped assembled and to orders of more than 10 bulky pieces. For drawer units that the supplier ships assembled, it's better to check with the drop-off point before listing the card for the whole of Kazakhstan.
Thin plastic cracks on impact, and in this niche that's a frequent reason for claims. If an item is damaged in Kaspi Delivery, a claim is filed within 10 days for in-city delivery and 45 days across Kazakhstan (q2306, updated Nov 25, 2025). Compensation is 10% if only the packaging is damaged, 30% if the back or side parts suffered, and 100% if the item lost its marketable appearance. A cracked drawer is more likely 30%. The product card and returns
Storage is chosen by size. A buyer measures a shelf in the wardrobe or the space under the sink and looks for a box that will fit there. So the external dimensions in centimeters, and for boxes the internal ones too, are the main information in the card. The main characteristics can't be changed once a card is more than a month old (q3554, updated Feb 23, 2026). Mix up width and depth, and you create a new card and lose the reviews.
Returns follow the general rules: 14 days for an item that wasn't used and kept its appearance, 30 days for a defective one (q2269, updated Sep 21, 2026). A typical story is "didn't fit the size". The box didn't fit in the wardrobe, but it's new and unmarked, so it will be returned. But if the vacuum bags were already pumped out and sweaters lay in the garment bag for six months, that's an item with signs of use. The seller may refuse, and the buyer has the right to dispute the refusal within three days (q2277). The best protection against "didn't fit" returns is dimensions on the first photo, not at the end of the description.
Common mistakes when selling storage systems on Kaspi
- A cosmetics organizer sits in "Household goods". People look for it in "Beauty" and buy it there, from your neighbor.
- IKEA without documents. Twenty boxes from a trip stay at home: Kaspi won't accept a receipt in a friend's name.
- "Like IKEA" in the title. An unbranded box with someone else's brand in the card already looks like a counterfeit.
- 9,900 ₸ turned into 10,400 ₸. The buyer paid more, and you got 142 ₸ less from an order to Shymkent.
- A 16 kg shelf unit instead of 12 kg. Four kilograms of packaging and metal cost 2,204 ₸ on every shipment to another city.
- A drawer unit without corners. A cracked drawer means 30% compensation and most likely a bad review.
- Dimensions in the last paragraph. Nobody read that far, the box didn't fit in the wardrobe, the parcel goes back, and delivery is charged.
Checklist: storage systems on Kaspi
First decide where the item will be searched for, and create it there, even if by material it's closer to another section. Check the IKEA, SPACEO and Xiaomi brands before paying the supplier: after payment it's already a question of frozen money. Recalculate prices around 5,000 ₸ and 10,000 ₸ with delivery, and take the minimum price from the rate to another city: by the in-city rate it comes out too low.

- [ ] No other companies' brands in the titles of "lookalikes".
- [ ] External and internal dimensions are in the main characteristics and on the first photo.

- [ ] Storage furniture is weighed in its packaging.
- [ ] A packing video for drawer units and boxes is recorded, corners are in place.
How to automate prices for storage systems
Cards for popular boxes and vacuum bags usually have many sellers, and prices there change quickly.
