You can sell strollers and car seats on Kaspi without category permission, and Kaspi takes 12.5% including VAT. Where sellers usually trip up is brands. You bring in Cybex or Anex without letters from the supplier, and the boxes just sit in the warehouse. The other trap is weight: a 14 kg 3-in-1 stroller ships to Karaganda for 1,971 ₸, while a 17 kg one costs 4,175 ₸. We went through what to check before you buy stock and worked out six products in tenge.
In short
- Everything that rolls or buckles in has one rate: 12.5%, or 10.9% without VAT.
- There is exactly one permission exception in the section: baby carriers and slings.
- Restricted brands, on the other hand, are plentiful, from Chicco to Doona.
- A stroller that the neighbour's son rode in, however clean, will not get past Kaspi: used goods are banned.
- 15 kg in the box is the line above which delivery to the regions costs 2,204 ₸ more.
What the section covers and what Kaspi charges
In the 2026 tariffs all of this sits under «Детские товары → Прогулки и поездки» ("Kids' goods → Walks and trips") (Tariffs 2026, PDF). We went through the subcategories, and the rate is the same everywhere.

Wheelchairs for adults are a different section, «Аптека → Реабилитация» ("Pharmacy → Rehabilitation"). The rate is the same, but buyers look for them in another catalogue, and pharmacy rules are closer to them. Baby carriers: the only restricted item in the section
In the list of restricted categories (PDF), the only items named from «Прогулки и поездки» are baby carriers and slings. Strollers and car seats are not mentioned there. A shop that imports strollers often adds a baby carrier "while we're at it", and that is exactly where the product card gets stuck.
The application form appears in the seller cabinet by itself when you add an item from a restricted category (q2224). For kids' goods Kaspi asks for a supply contract or a contract with the manufacturer, a waybill and proof of payment. An EAEU certificate or declaration of conformity and a state registration certificate are needed in cases required by law. Put the package together in advance, and the carriers will go on sale with the rest of the batch rather than a week later.
Brands that need documents
In the list of restricted brands as of Nov 6, 2026 we found almost every name people search for in this niche: Cybex, Chicco, Joie, Peg-Perego, Anex, Stokke, Doona, BABYZEN, Happy baby. If even one of these brands is in your order, get brand permission first and create the product card after that.
Kaspi accepts documents in three scenarios (q2618). First: a letter from the rights holder, a purchase contract, plus waybills and payment for the last 90 days. Second, for a chain that goes through an intermediary, a letter from the official supplier is added. Third, buying on the brand's official website: electronic receipts in the name of the company head, the goods already in your warehouse, and less than 60 days since purchase. In every scenario you need at least 10 units of each brand.
Ten units matters for expensive models. Ten Stokke strollers is serious money, and you cannot list one "as a test". We walked through the application process in the article brand restrictions on Kaspi.
Why not go for used
Strollers outlive the time a child spends in them, and the second-hand market is huge. But Kaspi bans used goods, fakes and replicas outright (q3904, updated Jan 16, 2026). The seller rules separately say you may not sell unpacked goods that were used for demonstration to buyers (q1342). A display stroller from a showroom falls under this.
Delivery: the box, the weight and the parcel locker
How much the box really weighs
Kaspi treats anything longer than 70 cm on any side or heavier than 20 kg as a large item (how to pack an item, PDF). A stroller box is almost always longer than 70 cm. For large items Kaspi recommends five-layer corrugated cardboard. The factory box is often thinner, and if it gets crushed, compensation may be refused: Kaspi says plainly that this can happen with improper packaging (q2296, updated Nov 5, 2025).
A 3-in-1 stroller often arrives in two boxes: the chassis separately, the carrycot and seat unit separately. Each piece is packed on its own with its own waybill, and you enter the number of pieces yourself (q3043, updated Aug 22, 2024).
The parcel locker
The largest Kaspi Postomat cell, L, measures 296×438×452 mm (q2915). A rain cover, a footmuff or a changing bag will fit. A car seat or a stroller will not; the courier brings those to the door.
When the drop-off point refuses the parcel
A drop-off point may refuse an order if its weight or size exceeds what that point accepts. You can check this on the map by tapping the point's red dot (q3047, updated Jan 22, 2026). Before your first stroller shipment, see which point near you works without size limits.
The math: six products and the 15 kg line
Let's say it right away: this is a hypothetical example, not a client case. We made up the prices and purchase costs and did not count taxes. The delivery tariffs, however, are real, taken from q2288 (updated Jun 16, 2026), in force since Jan 1, 2026, with 16% VAT added. Orders under 10,000 ₸ are charged by order value, orders from 10,000 ₸ by weight. A 5–15 kg box costs 1,565 ₸ within the city and 1,971 ₸ to the regions; 15–30 kg costs 2,667 and 4,175 ₸.

The "9–36 kg" in the car seat's name is the child's weight, not the box's. That is exactly how buyers search for seats, so don't hide this line in the card.
Minimum price: (purchase cost + delivery + packaging) ÷ (1 − rate). For a 17 kg 3-in-1 stroller going to another city: (120,000 + 4,175 + 1,000) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 143,057 ₸. For the 9–36 kg car seat: (33,000 + 1,971 + 500) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 40,538 ₸. Below these figures every sale goes into the red even before taxes.
The 15 kg line
Look at the bottom two rows. It's the same stroller; the difference is three kilos of cardboard and foam. Yet delivery went from 1,971 to 4,175 ₸. Against a price of 180,000 ₸ that is just over one percent, which looks like nothing. But in a card where you hold first place by a margin of two thousand, those two thousand are gone. The stroller's manual gives the weight without the box, so weigh it yourself in the warehouse.
Small items under 10,000 ₸
For accessories, it's the order value that matters, not weight. A 2,900 ₸ rain cover pays 173 ₸ for delivery, and the shop keeps 1,185 ₸. A 5,900 ₸ bag going to Pavlodar already pays 927 ₸. Raise a price from 4,900 to 5,100 ₸ and you earn two hundred tenge but give almost seven hundred more to delivery. The thresholds here are 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 ₸.
The product card, returns and damage
What to fill in straight away
Mums pick a stroller using filters: type, child's weight, seat fixing, colour. Mix up Isofix and belt fixing, and a month later you can't fix it, because the main characteristics lock by then (q3554, updated Feb 23, 2026). A mistake in the fixing type will then have to be corrected with a new card. Colours of one model can be merged if the brand, category and main characteristics match (q5146, updated Jul 23, 2026).
Returns
A buyer can return an item of proper quality within 14 days if it still looks new, and a faulty one within 30 days (q2269, updated Sep 21, 2026). A stroller that was pushed around the streets for a week cannot be returned "as new": if an item comes back with signs of use, the seller can refuse the return, and the buyer may dispute the refusal within 3 days (q2277). Photos of the wheels and fabric at dispatch help a lot here.
Damage in transit
If the box gets crushed during Kaspi Delivery, a claim is filed within 10 days for city delivery and 45 days for delivery across Kazakhstan (q2306, updated Nov 25, 2025). Compensation is 10%, 30% or 100%, depending on the damage. At 10%, the packaging suffered but the item still looks new. For a 180,000 ₸ stroller that's 18,000 ₸, so a packing video is worth a couple of minutes.
Common mistakes when selling strollers and car seats
- Baby carriers without permission. This is a restricted category; the card won't pass moderation until the documents are in.
- Cybex or Chicco without brand permission. The batch sits in the warehouse while you collect letters and waybills.
- A display or used stroller. Kaspi bans both, and the risk is to the whole shop, not just the card.
- Manual weight instead of boxed weight. A "12 kg" stroller weighs more in its box, and delivery to the regions comes out 2,204 ₸ higher than planned.
- A thin factory box. With improper packaging, compensation for damage may be refused.
- A minimum price based on delivery in your own city. For orders to the regions, such a price loses money.
- The car seat's fixing type in the description rather than in the characteristics. A month later it can no longer be fixed.
Checklist before launching strollers and car seats
Half of the items depend on the supplier's paperwork, so we would go through the list before paying for stock. First, check your brands against the list, and don't forget Happy baby and BABYZEN: they are often missed. If the batch includes baby carriers, apply for the category right away. And ask the supplier for the contract, waybills and payment records for the last 90 days; without them you won't get brand permission.

In a popular car seat card, competitors' prices change several times a day, and for heavy strollers the minimum price depends on the delivery tariff.
