A bed linen set looks like an easy product for Kaspi: it's light, it doesn't break, and the commission is 12.5%. The difficulties start with the documents and the cards. Under TR CU 017/2011 bed linen needs a certificate, not a declaration. From December 1, 2026, bed, table, toilet and kitchen linen is on the list of goods with mandatory labeling. And on Kaspi "single", "double" and "euro" are three different cards, not one product with a size choice. Let's go through what to prepare before you buy stock and how to price bed linen, towels, curtains and rugs.
In short
- Home textiles are in «Товары для дома и дачи» (Home and garden), the commission is 12.5% including VAT, and no Kaspi permission is needed. Children's bedding sits in «Детские товары» (Kids' goods), which is a restricted category.
- Bed linen needs a certificate under TR CU 017/2011. Machine-made rugs are declared under schemes 3d, 4d or 6d.
- Goods with HS code 6302, that is bed, table, toilet and kitchen linen, are labeled from December 1, 2026.
- Kaspi allows several sizes in one card only for clothing and footwear, so each size of a set is a separate card.
- A euro set at 16,000 ₸ sent to another city leaves 3,843 ₸ with a purchase cost of 8,500 ₸.
Where home textiles are on Kaspi and what they cost to sell
In Kaspi's 2026 tariffs this is «Товары для дома и дачи → Домашний текстиль» (Home and garden → Home textiles): bed linen sets, sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, pillows and duvets, throws and bedspreads, towels, mattress toppers, kitchen textiles, curtains and rugs. The rate is the same everywhere: 10.9% without VAT and 12.5% with VAT (2026 tariffs, PDF).
Home goods aren't on the list of restricted categories (q2224, updated Oct 5, 2026). The exception is bedding for babies. It sits in «Детские товары → Для малыша и мамы» (Kids' goods → For baby and mom), and for it Kaspi will ask for a supply contract, an EAC certificate or declaration, an invoice and proof of payment. Restricted brands have their own rules: a letter from the rights holder or a contract, and invoices for the last 90 days (q2618, updated Jul 10, 2026). Replicas of well-known brands are banned (q3904, updated Jan 16, 2026).

What TR CU 017/2011 says
The regulation on the safety of light industry products splits textiles into groups. It classifies bed linen as first-layer products that touch the skin directly (article 5). Conformity for them is confirmed by certification (article 11, item 4). Linen and towel fabrics and materials, as well as machine-made carpet coverings and products, are declared under schemes 3d, 4d or 6d. Everything outside these groups that isn't certified is declared under schemes 1d or 2d (TR CU 017/2011).
For a seller this gives a simple rule: for a bed linen set ask the supplier for a certificate of conformity, not a declaration. If the supplier offers a declaration for bed linen, that's a reason to ask questions before paying for the batch. Children's bed linen
TR CU 007/2011 on products for children and teenagers names children's bed linen separately and also requires certification for it (TR CU 007/2011, article 12). A cot set falls under the children's regulation, and in the store it falls under a restricted category. More in the article on kids' goods on Kaspi.
Labeling from December 1, 2026
The list of goods subject to labeling was approved by order 199-НҚ of the Minister of Trade and Integration of the RK of May 26, 2026. For HS code 6302 «Белье постельное, столовое, туалетное и кухонное» ("Bed, table, toilet and kitchen linen") it says: «С 1 декабря 2026 года обязательная маркировка» ("Mandatory labeling from December 1, 2026") for light industry goods imported into or produced in Kazakhstan (adilet, G26TI000199, as amended Jun 30, 2026). This is a legal requirement, not a Kaspi one, and as of Oct 31, 2026 it's 31 days away. Code 6302 covers towels, tablecloths and kitchen towels too, not only sets.
The list doesn't explain what happens to stock imported before December 1. Ask the labeling operator now, and check with your supplier whether the next batch will already come with codes. More in product labeling for Kaspi.

The table is a guide based on the texts of the regulations and the order as of Oct 31, 2026, not a legal opinion. The list of labeled goods changes, so check your HS code in the current version.
The product card: size decides everything
Kaspi links a product to a card by its main attributes (q3554, updated Feb 23, 2026). Several colors or sizes in one card are allowed only in «Одежда» (Clothing) and «Обувь» (Footwear). Home textiles aren't among them. A "euro" set and a "family" set in the same print are two cards, and curtains 150 and 200 cm wide are two as well. Only products of the same brand and category with matching main attributes can be merged (q5146, updated Jul 23, 2026). A month after a card is created its main attributes can no longer be changed.
Factories name sizes differently, so buyers need centimeters. What to put in a set description:
- the size of the duvet cover, sheet and pillowcases in cm, not just "euro";
- whether the sheet is fitted, and for what mattress height;
- the fabric: sateen, calico, poplin, percale, cotton percentage;
- how many pillowcases are in the set, 2 or 4;
- how to wash it and at what temperature.
A buyer who expected a fitted sheet for a 160×200 mattress and got a flat one will return the set. How to shoot photos that show the fabric texture is covered in product photos for Kaspi.
Returns: what can and can't be returned
A buyer can return an unused item within 14 days and a defective one within 30 days (q2269, updated Sep 21, 2026). Article 30 of the Law of the RK "On consumer protection" lists exceptions, and for textiles there's an important line. Goods sold by the meter can't be exchanged or returned if they're of proper quality: fabrics, knitted and curtain cloth, faux fur, carpet products, nonwovens, ribbons, lace and braid (Law of the RK No. 274-IV).
Tulle cut by the meter and a carpet runner cut to length fall under this exception. A finished bed linen set, a throw or a standard-size curtain don't. They're returned on general terms if the product's appearance and tags are intact. The law separately mentions underwear, but bed linen isn't underwear. More in returns on Kaspi for sellers.
To get fewer returns, pack the set so it can be looked at without opening the factory packaging: the label with size and fabric should be visible. A buyer who tore open the bag "just to look" has already spoiled the product's appearance, and you'll be the one arguing.
The math: bed linen, towels, curtains and a rug
A hypothetical example, not a client case. Prices, purchase costs and weights are made up, and taxes are left out. Delivery follows Kaspi's tariffs from Jan 1, 2026, with 16% VAT added (q2288, updated Jun 16, 2026).

Minimum price = (Purchase cost + Delivery + Packing) ÷ (1 − Commission incl. VAT)
For a euro set going to another city: (8,500 + 1,507 + 150) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 11,608 ₸. For curtains: (7,200 + 1,507 + 100) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 10,065 ₸. For the rug: (28,000 + 1,971 + 300) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 34,595 ₸.
Towels and the 10,000 ₸ threshold
A set of three towels at 9,900 ₸ with a purchase cost of 5,100 ₸ leaves 2,535 ₸ when sent to another city: delivery is 927 ₸ because the order is under 10,000 ₸. Raise the price to 10,500 ₸ and delivery becomes weight-based, 1,507 ₸. You're left with 2,481 ₸, less than at a price 600 ₸ lower. For a set priced around 10,000 ₸ it pays to stay under the threshold or add a fourth towel and go well above it.
The rug: heavy, but with a good margin
The rug sent to another city leaves 9,104 ₸, and 1,971 ₸ for delivery isn't scary next to a 45,000 ₸ price. The danger is elsewhere. A rolled rug is longer than 70 cm, and Kaspi treats it as a large item (How to pack goods for Kaspi Delivery, PDF). If the rug weighs more than 15 kg, the tariff jumps to the next step: 2,667 ₸ within the city and 4,175 ₸ across Kazakhstan. Weigh a sample before you price the whole batch. Duvets and pillows: light, but bulky
A double duvet weighs a couple of kilograms, but its box easily goes over 70 cm on one side. For Kaspi that's already a large item. If an order has a duvet and two pillows in separate boxes, enter the number of parcels when packing: each parcel gets its own waybill (q3043, updated Aug 22, 2024). The tariff doesn't depend on box volume: under 10,000 ₸ it's based on the order sum, above that on weight. So vacuum packing doesn't help with the delivery price; it helps with how many duvets fit in your warehouse.
Common mistakes when selling home textiles on Kaspi
- A declaration instead of a certificate for bed linen. TR CU 017/2011 requires certification for it.
- A December batch of linen without asking about labeling. From December 1, 2026, code 6302 must be labeled.
- All sizes of a set in one card. That only works for clothing and footwear; textiles won't pass review.
- "Euro" without centimeters. The buyer compares the size with their duvet after delivery and returns the item.
- A towel set at 10,500 ₸ instead of 9,900 ₸. Delivery to another city goes up from 927 to 1,507 ₸, and the margin drops.
- A rug that wasn't weighed. If it's over 15 kg, delivery to another city is already 4,175 ₸.
- Children's bedding in the "adult" section. A children's product needs TR CU 007/2011 documents and permission for «Детские товары» (Kids' goods).

Do I need Kaspi's permission to sell bed linen?
Not for adult bed linen: «Товары для дома и дачи» (Home and garden) isn't a restricted category. Bedding for babies sits in «Детские товары» (Kids' goods), and you can't get in there without permission.
Which document does bed linen need?
A certificate of conformity. That's what article 11 of TR CU 017/2011 requires, and for children's bedding article 12 of TR CU 007/2011. A declaration isn't enough here.
Does bed linen need labeling in Kazakhstan?
