Kaspi sells air conditioners, heaters, water heaters, humidifiers and fans at 12.5% including VAT, and the category needs no permission. The brand almost always does: Midea, Gree, Haier, Ballu, Electrolux, Hisense, Xiaomi, Polaris, Scarlett, Thermex and Ariston are on the restricted list. And in this category the money is eaten by weight. A split system in two boxes weighing 65 kg ships to another city for 9,917 ₸, and leaves you 6,554 ₸ less than a city order at 30–60 kg.

We went through the «Климатическая техника» (Climate appliances) branch in the 2026 tariffs (2026 tariffs, PDF), and the rate is the same everywhere there.

Heat guns, heating radiators and built-in convectors sit in another section, «Строительство, ремонт → Системы отопления» (Construction, renovation → Heating systems). The rate there is also 12.5%, but buyers go there with a different task: they're building or renovating something. A household heater on wheels is searched for in home appliances.

Brands: who is on the restricted list
What we found on Nov 3, 2026
Among air conditioners the list has Midea, Gree, Haier, Hisense and Electrolux. Among heaters and water heaters — Ballu, Electrolux, Thermex, Ariston, Polaris and Scarlett. Separately Xiaomi, which has humidifiers and fans. We did not find Samsung, LG, AUX, Timberk or Zanussi in this version. The list is updated, so check it again before each new purchase rather than from memory.
What documents are needed
Kaspi accepts one of two options (q2618, updated Jul 10, 2026). A letter or contract with the rights holder or its official supplier. Or invoices and payment documents for the last 90 days covering at least 10 units of the brand.
With humidifiers ten units is a couple of hundred thousand tenge. With air conditioners, ten split systems at 180,000 ₸ is 1,800,000 ₸ in purchases, all waiting for approval in the warehouse. If you work with a dealer, it's easier to ask them for a letter right away. Kaspi may request documents again, and forged ones can lead to disconnection from the Store.
The math: a humidifier, heaters, a split system, a water heater
A hypothetical example, not a client case. Purchase prices and selling prices are made up, taxes are not included. Delivery is based on Kaspi tariffs from Jan 1, 2026 plus 16% VAT (q2288, updated Jun 16, 2026). From 10,000 ₸ the cost depends on the order weight: up to 5 kg, 5–15, 15–30, 30–60 and 60–100 kg.

Minimum price: (purchase + delivery + packaging) ÷ (1 − rate). For a split system at 30–60 kg to another city: (180,000 + 6,553 + 1,500) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 214,918 ₸. If the set is heavier than 60 kg: (180,000 + 9,917 + 1,500) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 218,762 ₸.
Weight is counted per order, not per box
A split system is an indoor and an outdoor unit, usually in two boxes. The buyer sees one product, but you ship two boxes, and the weight has to be counted together. Don't rely on the spec sheet. Weigh both boxes on your own scales, add them up and see which tier you land in.
The difference between tiers is no trifle here. In our example a split going to another city at 30–60 kg leaves 13,197 ₸, and at 60–100 kg — 9,833 ₸. Minus 3,364 ₸ just because the outdoor unit turned out heavier than expected. We'd keep a row for each model with its real weight and tier, and update it when the supplier changes.
Water heater: the volume changes the tier
With boilers, weight grows with volume, and somewhere in the lineup a model jumps into the next weight tier. Exactly where, only your scales will show. So one markup for the whole lineup doesn't work: heavy models need more room for delivery, especially to the regions. In our example the 80-liter boiler in the 15–30 kg tier loses 1,508 ₸ on a long-distance order compared to a city order.
The 10,000 ₸ threshold on small appliances
A fan at 9,900 ₸ ships to another city for 927 ₸ and brings 1,735 ₸. At 10,400 ₸ delivery is already 1,507 ₸, and you keep 1,593 ₸. The price is 500 ₸ higher, but you get 142 ₸ less. Parts and consumables
The tariffs have a separate subcategory «Комплектующие для климатической техники» (Parts for climate appliances): parts for humidifiers, air conditioners and water heaters. The rate is the same, 12.5%. With consumables people come back to buy again, and a store that sold a humidifier should logically sell a filter for it too.
The same threshold logic works here, just lower. Filters are usually cheaper than 10,000 ₸, and their delivery is charged by order amount: up to 3,000 ₸ — 173 ₸, from 3,000 to 5,000 ₸ — 231 ₸, from 5,000 to 10,000 ₸ — 811 ₸ within the city and 927 ₸ to another city. A filter at 5,100 ₸ can bring less than one at 4,900 ₸. A set of two filters above 10,000 ₸ already ships by weight, and for a light product that's 1,275 ₸ within the city. Calculate both options before deciding whether to sell them one at a time or in pairs.
And check compatibility. A filter that didn't fit the model will come back, and the return delivery will eat everything you earned on it.
Installation, season and the card
Installation isn't part of delivery
Kaspi Delivery brings a box. An air conditioner without installation is two boxes in the hallway, and if the buyer expected "with installation", they'll be unhappy with you, not the courier. Write it plainly in the first paragraph of the description: "price without installation, mounting is ordered separately". The same applies to water heaters and wall convectors if they need a bracket.
If you offer installation yourself through your own crew, that's a separate story, and it's better not to mix it with the product in the Kaspi card. The buyer should understand what they're paying for in the order.
Season
November is heater time, June is air conditioner and fan time. At the peak of the season the cards of popular models have more sellers, and the price moves more often. So it makes sense to calculate the minimum price in advance, before the season, not on the day a competitor starts cutting.
Be careful with leftovers after the season. A heater returned after a couple of days of use can't be sold as new. Kaspi bans used goods (q3904, updated Jan 16, 2026), and unpacked demo units can't be sold under clause 3.2 of the terms (q1342, updated Sep 30, 2026).
Card attributes
Key attributes tie a product to its card, and after a month you can't change them (q3554, updated Feb 23, 2026). For a split that's the model and power, for a boiler the volume, for a heater the power. Models of different power and different volume are different products, they aren't merged into one card (q5146, updated Jul 23, 2026).
The description should include what the buyer will ask first: what area the air conditioner or heater is designed for, whether it has an inverter mode, what connection the boiler needs. For someone choosing between two models that look the same, the area in square meters matters more than a nice photo.
Returns and damage
A store cannot refuse an exchange or return of a product of proper quality within 14 calendar days if its presentation is preserved (clause 4.3 of q1342). With heavy appliances return delivery is expensive too, so a description without surprises is direct savings.
A split's outdoor unit and a boiler are easy to dent in transit. Pack them according to Kaspi's instructions, otherwise compensation may be refused (q2296, updated Nov 5, 2025). Damage claims are accepted within 10 calendar days within the city and 45 across Kazakhstan, compensation is 10%, 30% or 100% (q2306, updated Nov 25, 2025).
Common mistakes in climate appliances on Kaspi
- Split weight based on one box. Together the two boxes move into 60–100 kg, and you keep 3,364 ₸ less per order.
- One markup for the whole boiler lineup. Heavy volumes eat the margin on delivery to the regions.
- A Ballu or Thermex batch without a permission. The goods are in the warehouse, but you can't create a card.
- Nothing said about installation. The buyer expected mounting and files a return.
- A fan at 10,400 ₸. Delivery grows by 580 ₸, and you keep 142 ₸ less than at 9,900 ₸.
- A heater returned after the season back on sale as new. Kaspi bans used goods.
- The minimum price calculated at the peak of the season. Better to do it in advance, while the price in the card is calm.
