Kaspi sells dashcams, head units, radar detectors and subwoofers at 12.5% including VAT, and these sections need no permission. Many brands do need one: 70mai, Xiaomi, Pioneer, Alpine, JBL, Kenwood, Garmin, Baseus and Hoco. A separate story is dashcams and trackers "with a hidden camera" and eavesdropping — Kaspi won't let those through at all. And the main enemy of margin here is weight: a 31 kg boxed subwoofer ships to another city for 6,553 ₸.

Where car electronics sit in the catalog
In the 2026 tariffs everything that plugs into a car's power system is split across two branches of «Автотовары» (Car goods) (2026 tariffs, PDF). The rates are the same, but buyers see different filters, so pick the branch by product.

The word "dashcam" (in Russian, «видеорегистратор», which also means a video recorder) appears three times in the tariffs, and that is confusing. There are car ones in Car electronics, there are recorders for video surveillance systems that office cameras connect to, and there are portable ones in «Фото- и видеокамеры» (Photo and video cameras). The rate is 12.5% for all of them. But someone looking for a dashcam for their car goes to car goods, so put it there.
The restricted categories list for «Автотовары» has only four lines: motorcycles, scooters, electric scooters and electric motorcycles (restricted list, PDF). Car electronics are not on it. We have a separate article about car parts and consumables — car parts on Kaspi.
Brands: what needs a permission
Who is on the list
We opened the list on Nov 3, 2026. Of what sells in car electronics, it has 70mai and Xiaomi, Pioneer, Alpine, JBL and Kenwood, Garmin, and among accessories — Baseus and Hoco. We did not find Neoline or Prology in this version. The list changes, so check it again before each new purchase.
Pay attention to Baseus and Hoco. Many sellers buy holders, car chargers and FM transmitters from these brands by the box from wholesalers without thinking about a permission. You won't be able to create a card without one, and the batch is already paid for.
Documents
Kaspi accepts one of two packages (q2618, updated Jul 10, 2026). Either a letter or contract with the rights holder or its official supplier. Or invoices and payment documents for the last 90 days covering at least 10 units of that brand.
With 1,100 ₸ holders, ten pieces is nothing. With 49,000 ₸ head units, ten units is 490,000 ₸ in stock. File your first application for the brand where you already have invoices in hand. Kaspi may ask for documents again, and forged ones can lead to disconnection from the Store.
What's not allowed: hidden cameras, eavesdropping, used goods
Spy devices
The banned list includes spy goods: with a built-in hidden camera or a high-frequency microphone (q3904, updated Jan 16, 2026). For car electronics this is a trap. A dashcam shaped like a key fob, a GPS tracker "with in-cabin listening", a camera "unnoticed by the driver" — all of these fall under the ban.
An ordinary dashcam with a visible camera and a microphone for recording sound is not in this group. The line is drawn by purpose, and the seller describes that purpose in the description. Words like "covertly", "unnoticed", "eavesdropping" in a card give the product away. If a supplier sells a tracker exactly that way, you don't need that product on Kaspi.
Used goods and demo units
Used goods are banned on the same line as fakes and replicas. A head unit taken out of a car or a dashcam from a display can't be listed as new. The Store terms separately say that unpacked goods used for demonstration to buyers cannot be sold (clause 3.2 of q1342, updated Sep 30, 2026).
The math: a holder, a transmitter, a dashcam, a head unit, a subwoofer
A hypothetical example, not a client case. Purchase prices and selling prices are made up, taxes are not included. Delivery is based on Kaspi tariffs from Jan 1, 2026 plus 16% VAT (q2288, updated Jun 16, 2026). Below 10,000 ₸ the delivery cost depends on the order amount, from 10,000 ₸ on the weight. We take the boxed subwoofer in two versions: 15–30 kg and 30–60 kg.

Minimum price: (purchase + delivery + packaging) ÷ (1 − rate). For a dashcam going to another city: (16,500 + 1,507 + 200) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 20,808 ₸. For a heavy subwoofer: (60,000 + 6,553 + 500) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 76,632 ₸.
Weight matters more than the rate
On small items up to 5 kg you barely notice delivery. A subwoofer is different. Within the city in the 15–30 kg tier it ships for 2,667 ₸, but to another city, once the box goes over 30 kg, it's already 6,553 ₸. A difference of 3,886 ₸, more than a third of what you get from a city order. Sometimes a supplier offers the same enclosure in lighter packaging, and then the saving on the tariff outweighs a discount on the purchase price.
Hence the practical conclusion. Weigh the box yourself instead of taking the number from the product's spec sheet, and calculate the minimum price using the long-distance heavy tier. If you earn 11,208 ₸ within the city and 7,322 ₸ to the regions, a bot with one minimum price for everyone will hold a price at which regional orders eat your margin.
Memory card: in the kit or separate
A dashcam needs a memory card, and you can sell it as a separate card or put it in a kit. Let's calculate with a hypothetical card bought for 1,800 ₸. Sold separately at 3,900 ₸ it brings 1,381 ₸: 488 ₸ commission and 231 ₸ delivery. In a kit with the dashcam, the price grows by the same 3,900 ₸ and the commission by 488 ₸, but delivery doesn't change, because an order from 10,000 ₸ is already charged by weight. The kit brings 231 ₸ more. A trifle on one order, but over a hundred orders that's 23,100 ₸.
There is a flip side. A kit with a card is a separate product with its own product card, and it may have fewer or more competitors than the card of the "bare" dashcam. Look at where there are fewer sellers right now before deciding.
The 5,000 ₸ threshold on accessories
A holder at 4,900 ₸ ships for 231 ₸. List it at 5,100 ₸, and delivery to another city is already 927 ₸. The price is 200 ₸ higher, yet you keep 522 ₸ less. The same goes for car chargers and cables. More on delivery tiers in the article how not to sell at a loss on Kaspi.
The card, compatibility and returns
What to put in the card
Key attributes tie a product to its card, and after a month you can't change them (q3554, updated Feb 23, 2026). For a head unit that's the size, 1DIN or 2DIN; for a dashcam, the model and whether the kit includes a rear camera. A dashcam with and without a rear camera are different products and cannot be mixed in one card (q5146, updated Jul 23, 2026).
For car electronics the description needs compatibility. Powered from the cigarette lighter or from the wiring, 12 or 24 V, whether a mounting frame for a specific car make is needed. A truck driver with a 24 V system who bought a 12 V dashcam will return it within the first week.
Installation
Kaspi Delivery brings a box, not a technician. If a head unit needs a frame and an adapter, say so plainly: "installation requires a frame for your car make, not included". Otherwise a buyer who expected "plug it in and drive" will be disappointed and leave a review not about the product but about you.
Returns and packaging
A store cannot refuse an exchange or return of a product of proper quality within 14 calendar days if its presentation is preserved (clause 4.3 of q1342). With a dashcam on an adhesive pad, whether it still looks new after the first installation is debatable. Put a second pad in the box or warn in the description that the mount is single-use.
Pack subwoofers and speakers with corner protectors and dense filler. Kaspi may refuse compensation if the packaging doesn't follow the instructions (q2296, updated Nov 5, 2025). Damage claims are accepted within 10 calendar days within the city and 45 across Kazakhstan, compensation is 10%, 30% or 100% (q2306, updated Nov 25, 2025).
Common mistakes in car electronics on Kaspi
- A Baseus or Hoco batch without a permission. The goods are paid for, but you can't create a card without a brand permission.
- "Hidden camera" in the description. A direct route into banned spy goods.
- One minimum price for a subwoofer for all cities. A 3,886 ₸ delivery difference in the heavy tier eats a third of what's left.
- Weight from the spec sheet, not from the scales. A box over 30 kg moves the order into an expensive tier.
- A holder at 5,100 ₸. Delivery to another city grows from 231 to 927 ₸, you keep 522 ₸ less.
- No 12/24 V in the description. A return within 14 days, with delivery at your expense.
- A head unit from the display. Kaspi's terms forbid selling a demo unit as new.
Checklist: car electronics on Kaspi
- [ ] The brand is checked against the latest restricted list.
- [ ] For a restricted brand, a contract or 90-day invoices for 10+ units are collected.
- [ ] No "covertly", "unnoticed" or "eavesdropping" in the description.
- [ ] The box is weighed on your own scales.
- [ ] The minimum price is calculated for long-distance delivery and the weight tier.
- [ ] Accessories are not priced just above 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000 ₸.
- [ ] The card states the DIN size, voltage and power method.
- [ ] Dashcams with and without a rear camera are in separate cards.
One more thing that's hard to fit into a checkbox. In winter, dashcams and battery gadgets get complaints like "won't turn on in the frost". If the manufacturer states an operating temperature range, put it in the description as a number. It won't save you from every dispute, but it shows you warned the buyer.

Cards for popular dashcams and head units usually have several sellers, and the price in them moves.
