Kaspi doesn't ask for a separate permission to sell plumbing, and the commission on a faucet, sink, toilet or shower cabin is the same — 12.5% including VAT. Money in this niche is lost on the road. Ceramic chips, a shower cabin travels in four boxes, and a 32-kilogram toilet to another city costs 6,553 ₸ in delivery. Let's look at how to ship bulky items, how much Kaspi pays back for breakage and how to find the price you must not go below.
In short
- Plumbing sits in the «Строительство, ремонт» (Construction and renovation) section: 10.9% excluding VAT or 12.5% including VAT, no permission needed.
- A toilet with its cistern or a shower cabin ships as several pieces, each box with its own waybill.

Where plumbing sits in the catalog and what Kaspi charges
Open Kaspi's 2026 tariffs: plumbing is a subcategory of «Construction and renovation». It includes bathtubs with accessories, shower cabins, trays, enclosures, shower sets, kitchen sinks, washbasins with pedestals, faucets, siphons, floor drains, flexible hoses, toilets, cisterns, installation frames, seats and hand dryers. The rate is 10.9% excluding VAT and 12.5% including VAT everywhere (Tariffs 2026, PDF). The neighboring «Водоснабжение» (Water supply) subcategory with pipes, fittings, valves, filters, pumps and meters goes at the same rate.
No permission is required for the section: it isn't on the restricted categories list (q2224, updated Oct 5, 2026; list, PDF). But plumbing has many well-known brands, and some of them may be on the restricted list. Then Kaspi will ask for a letter from the rights holder or a contract, invoices and proof of payment for the last 90 days, at least 10 units (q2618, updated Jul 10, 2026). Brand fakes are banned, no exceptions (q3904, updated Jan 16, 2026).
Documents: where plumbing ends and electrics begin
Faucets, sinks, toilets
There's no electricity in them, so TR CU 004/2011 on low-voltage equipment doesn't apply: it covers equipment rated 50–1,000 V AC and 75–1,500 V DC (TR CU 004/2011, article 1). Kaspi doesn't ask for a permission for this section. Still, ask the supplier for the product passport and the warranty card: without them it's hard to argue if a buyer claims a defect.
Hand dryers, electric seats and pumps
Here it's different. The annex to TR CU 004/2011 lists household electrical appliances that go through certification, and among them are «санитарно-гигиенические» (sanitary and hygiene) appliances and «электронасосы» (electric pumps). The same set appears in the list of TR CU 020/2011 on electromagnetic compatibility (TR CU 020/2011). So a mains-powered hand dryer, an electric bidet seat or a home water pump needs certificates under both regulations.

The table is a guide based on the text of the regulations, not a legal opinion. If an item has lighting or a sensor, like a bathroom mirror or a battery-powered touchless faucet, check with a certification body: it all comes down to voltage and whether there are electronics.
How to ship bulky plumbing
Several pieces in one order
A shower cabin arrives in three or four boxes: tray, glass, panel, fittings. A close-coupled toilet comes in two: bowl and cistern. Kaspi requires each part to be packed separately with a waybill on each. The number of boxes is entered when packing the order in the «Количество мест» (Number of pieces) field, in the Kaspi Pay app or the web cabinet. If you entered one piece but brought two, the second may be refused (q3043, updated Aug 22, 2024).
Check dimensions in advance too. Each pickup point has its own size and weight limits, shown on the pickup point map. An order bigger than allowed won't be accepted (q3047, updated Jan 22, 2026). A 170 cm acrylic bathtub or a shower enclosure in one box won't get through everywhere.
Packing ceramics and glass
If an item is packed incorrectly, Kaspi may refuse compensation (q2296, updated Nov 5, 2025). The guide requires fixing the item, filling empty space and applying fragile handling labels (How to pack goods for Kaspi Delivery, PDF).
A toilet's factory box is designed for a warehouse, where it's put on a pallet and left alone. In courier delivery it gets tipped over, so it needs a second layer on top: foam corners, thick cardboard, stretch wrap. Shower cabin glass is stood upright with cardboard between the panes. A faucet is best sent in its factory box inside a courier box, because buyers often open the parcel on camera and check whether the manufacturer's packaging is intact. If the item broke
A claim to Kaspi Delivery is filed within 10 calendar days within the city and 45 across Kazakhstan. If the return act has no damage note, the deadline is 24 hours, with a photo or video, date and time. Compensation depends on the degree of damage (q2306, updated Nov 25, 2025):

At 100%, the broken item must be kept for a month after the payout so it can be handed to the courier service. If you don't keep it, Kaspi may revoke the compensation. A chip on the back of a toilet is more likely 30% than 100%, even though you can no longer sell such a toilet as new.
The math: what's left from a hose, a faucet and a cabin
A hypothetical example, not a client case. Purchase costs, prices and weights are made up, and taxes are left out. Delivery follows Kaspi's tariffs from Jan 1, 2026 plus 16% VAT (q2288, updated Jun 16, 2026). Below 10,000 ₸ the tariff depends on the order sum; from 10,000 ₸, on weight.

Minimum price = (Purchase cost + Delivery + Packing) ÷ (1 − 0.125)
For a toilet to another city: (44,000 + 6,553 + 800) ÷ 0.875 ≈ 58,689 ₸. Between the 65,000 ₸ price and this floor there are about 6,300 ₸. For the cabin the floor is about 157,048 ₸. What one breakage costs
Say a toilet reached a buyer in another city with a chip on the side, and Kaspi recognized 30%. You've lost the 44,000 ₸ purchase cost, 800 ₸ packing and 6,553 ₸ delivery. If compensation is calculated from the sale price, you'll get back 19,500 ₸. To make up the difference of almost 32,000 ₸, you need to sell six more toilets to another city. Kaspi's page doesn't say what amount the percentage is calculated from, so clarify this with your first claim. But the scale is clear: a second layer of packing for 800 ₸ is cheaper than one breakage.
Small items below 5,000 ₸
A siphon for 4,900 ₸ ships for 231 ₸ and leaves 1,357 ₸. The same siphon at 5,200 ₸ is already in the 5,000–10,000 ₸ tier: 927 ₸ to another city, leaving 923 ₸. Adding 300 ₸ to the price cost you 434 ₸ of margin. For hoses, siphons and aerators, keep the price near the top of the tier or build sets, like two hoses for 2,900 ₸. The plumbing product card: what buyers ask
Kaspi links a product to a product card (the single shared listing that all sellers of the item join) by main attributes, and a month after the card is created they can no longer be changed (q3554, updated Feb 23, 2026). For plumbing these are mounting type, dimensions and color. A wall-hung and a floor-standing toilet, a faucet with a long spout and a short one are different cards. Only products of the same brand and category with matching main attributes can be merged (q5146, updated Jul 23, 2026).
What a buyer looks for before ordering: dimensions with mounting holes, the toilet outlet (angled, horizontal, vertical), hose length, thread size, whether a seat and fixings are included. Returns are tied to the card too. A buyer may return an unopened faucet of proper quality within 14 days if it hasn't been used and has kept its appearance (Law of the RK No. 274-IV, article 30). Common mistakes when selling plumbing on Kaspi
- One piece instead of two. The toilet and cistern are in different boxes, but the order says one piece — the second box may be refused.
- Factory packaging only. It's made for a warehouse pallet. Kaspi may not compensate breakage without proper packing.
- One price for heavy goods across the country. A toilet to another city brings 3,190 ₸ less than within the city.
- A siphon at 5,200 ₸. Delivery to another city grows from 231 to 927 ₸, and the price increase works against you.
- A hand dryer without certificates. It falls under TR CU 004/2011 and 020/2011, and an inspection will reveal it.
- Not keeping the broken item. At 100% compensation it must be kept for a month, or the payout may be revoked.
- No connection dimensions in the card. The buyer orders by eye and then returns it to you.
