An individual entrepreneur (IP) or LLP registered in Kazakhstan with an account at Halyk Bank can sell on Halyk Market. Registration is free, and the fee depends on the first-level category: 7–15% for regular payment and 19% for installments or a loan for 18–24 months. Delivery is paid by the seller from 5,000 ₸ within the city and from 10,000 ₸ between cities; below these amounts, the buyer pays. Below are the terms from Halyk Market's official documentation, calculations for three products next to Kaspi, and the points where the difference changes sign.
In short
- On a dress priced at 15,000 ₸, Halyk Market leaves the seller 225–401 ₸ more than Kaspi in our hypothetical example. The range exists because Halyk's documentation doesn't say whether VAT is included in the logistics tariff.
- On a phone priced at 150,000 ₸, the payment method decides everything: with full payment, Halyk is slightly better; with 24-month installments, the 19% fee eats up 10,500 ₸ of the difference, and Kaspi comes out ahead by 9,574 ₸.
- The free-delivery threshold for the buyer is calculated by basket with one seller. Two inexpensive products in one basket can cost you more than one.
- Halyk's rating is made up 0.8 from customer scores and only 0.2 from order-handling metrics, but an order not accepted within 5 hours counts as your cancellation.
- Money for a delivered order arrives in your Halyk Bank account no later than 18:00 on the next business day.
Who can sell and how to connect
Requirements
According to Halyk Market documentation («Требования к поставщикам»), you need to:
- be an individual entrepreneur (IP) or LLP registered in Kazakhstan;
- conduct retail trade or services, OKED 47.91.0 — retail trade via the internet;
- enter the correct BIN or IIN, contacts and store name during registration.
The document is cautious about business age: when applying directly through the website, it is "recommended" that at least six months have passed since registration, for faster verification. It is not called a ban. Halyk does not charge for connection or activation.
For payouts, you need a current account at Halyk Bank. An IP or LLP with one or two founders and registration older than six months can open it in the Halyk Bank Business app; for a recently opened IP or an LLP with more founders, the documentation advises going to a branch.
How to start in practice
If you already sell on Kaspi, check your registration certificate for 47.91.0; adding an activity code before applying is easier than after a rejection. The usual path after that: an account at Halyk Bank, application, waiting for activation, warehouses, delivery methods, first product cards. According to Halyk's FAQ answers, product card moderation takes up to three business days, on average about one day; applications are not processed on weekends (Halyk Market FAQ). If you upload a catalog on Friday evening, nobody will look at it before Monday.
Halyk Market fees in 2026
Rates by category
The rate is determined by the top category level — "Clothing", "Phones and gadgets" and so on. Installments or a loan for 3, 6 or 12 months do not change it («Комиссия по категории товара», Appendix 4 to the accession agreement). 18 and 24 months do change it.

Two caveats from the documentation itself. For 18 and 24 months, the single 19% rate applies in all categories except "Groceries". For "Pharmacy", 19% is charged when the purchase is made on credit. The open documents don't say whether VAT is included in these rates; if you are a VAT payer, clarify this with Halyk Market Qoldau support before calculating your price.
How this differs from Kaspi
On Kaspi, most categories in 2026 are at 12.5% including VAT, and the fee does not depend on how the buyer pays: card, Kaspi Gold or installments (Kaspi Guide, q1344; Kaspi 2026 fees). The exception is 0-0-24 installment promotions (0%, no down payment, 24 months), whose terms are visible in the seller cabinet. More detail is in the article on Kaspi fees for sellers.
On Halyk it is the other way round: the regular rate is lower, but long installments raise it sharply. For a cheap product this barely matters; people don't buy it on two-year installments. For electronics and furniture, it is the main question in the whole unit economics.
Delivery: who pays and where the trap is
Threshold rule
If the basket is placed with one seller, delivery is free for the buyer from 5,000 ₸ within the city and from 10,000 ₸ between cities, and the seller pays for logistics. If the amount is lower, the buyer pays 900 ₸ for delivery (Appendix 3, delivery tariffs).
The seller's tariff depends on the third-level category and is listed in the table to Appendix 3. For clothing and smartphones it is 1,099 ₸ within the city and 1,299 ₸ between cities; for large and heavy categories, it starts from 1,349 ₸ and goes higher, up to 6,449 ₸ within the city and 11,999 ₸ between cities. Some products are not delivered between cities at all — this is also shown in the table.
Basket, not product
A detail that's easy to miss: the threshold is calculated by basket with one seller. Take a T-shirt for 2,600 ₸ — a hypothetical example, not a client case, with 3% tax under the simplified declaration regime (the 2026 rate for Almaty and Astana, BES.media).

Look at what happened. The buyer added a second T-shirt to the basket, revenue grew by 2,600 ₸, but you kept only 1,137 ₸ more. You now pay the logistics for the whole basket. If you buy the T-shirt for more than 1,137 ₸, the second unit went negative. The fix is pricing: if a product lives around the threshold, build logistics into the price in advance.
Delivery methods
There are five options («Способы доставки товаров»). Pickup: the buyer comes to you and gives an OTP code. Halyk Market courier. Your own delivery, but it is enabled through support and with a fixed price. Pickup point, where the order is stored for 10 days. And parcel locker: there the buyer has only three days, then the parcel goes back.
Calculation: one product on Halyk Market and on Kaspi
Hypothetical example, not a client case. Assumptions: the seller is on the simplified regime, not a VAT payer, tax is 3% of the price. Kaspi: 12.5% fee including VAT, Kaspi Delivery at 2026 rates including VAT (q2288). Halyk: category fee, logistics 1,099 ₸ within the city; because Halyk's documentation is silent about VAT in the tariff, the dress also shows the VAT-inclusive option (1,275 ₸). Cost, packaging and advertising are not included: the table shows what is left before them.

What follows from this
Dress. Plus 225–401 ₸ per order in Halyk's favor. Nobody leaves Kaspi for that alone, but if the product cards already exist, an extra channel with a better margin is not bad.
Case. Here the table is slightly lying. Halyk will leave you 284 ₸ more — but only if the case gets bought at all. The buyer sees 3,500 ₸ plus another 900 ₸ for delivery, total 4,400 ₸. On Kaspi, delivery is withheld from the seller (q2312), and the same case costs the buyer 3,500 ₸ there. In the buyer's place, I would know where to buy.
With the phone, everything depends on how your buyers pay. The difference between full payment and 24-month installments is 7 percentage points, or 10,500 ₸ from one phone. If buyers in your category widely use long installments, you need to calculate using the 19% line, not 12%.
Formula for your category
Left = Price − Price × Category fee − Seller logistics − Price × Tax rate
For electronics, one rate is not enough; you need to weight it:
Fee = 12% × share of regular payments + 19% × share of 18–24-month installments
Take the share from your own sales. If you don't have Halyk sales yet, run both edges — everything at 12% and everything at 19% — and see under which one the product is still profitable.
Orders, rating and money
Processing times
Every order has a lifetime («Срок обработки заказа»). Working hours for the calculation are 9:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday; the timer does not run on weekends.

If you miss the deadline, the order is automatically canceled, and this affects the rating. Example: an order arrives on Friday at 16:30. There is half an hour left in the working day; the remaining two and a half hours are counted from Monday, so it must be accepted by 11:30 on Monday. If you get a notification on the weekend and think "I'll deal with it later", that's fine — the main thing is not to forget on Monday morning.
How the rating is calculated
Seller rating = Customer score × 0.8 + Halyk Market score × 0.2 («Рейтинг продавца»)
The first part is the average review score, for the whole period of work. The second is assigned by Halyk itself for the last 180 days, and it has five points: two for successfully completed orders, one each for cancellations through your fault, returns, and the speed with which you accept the order and call the courier. Until there are five or fewer approved reviews, the rating is not shown.
Suppose buyers give you 4.8. With a marketplace score of 5.0, the rating is 4.84; with 3.0, it is 4.44. A two-point difference in order-handling work moves the final result by 0.4. Whether the rating affects seller order, the documentation does not disclose; Halyk itself only says that it affects buyer trust. Note that Halyk counts not only your "Reject" button as a cancellation through your fault, but also an order that was not accepted within 5 hours of arrival.
Payouts and documents
With an account at Halyk Bank, money for a delivered order is transferred no later than 18:00 on the business day following the delivery day; for products from the "Goods from Turkey" and "Goods from China" sections, within 20 days («Финансы и выплаты»). The FAQ uses softer wording: up to three business days after the «Завершён» ("Completed") status; there are no payouts on weekends and holidays. Put the second figure into your cash-flow plan.
By the 15th of the next month, Halyk sends a reconciliation statement to your email, and it must be approved by the 20th; then a certificate of completed work is issued and, within 15 calendar days, an electronic invoice («Отчётные документы»). In the statement, the fee is split into two columns: for the platform and logistics, and the banking part. The banking part is charged only if the buyer paid by card or installments.
For those used to Kaspi, this is unusual. There, money lands in the Kaspi Pay account as soon as the product is delivered, the fee is deducted immediately, and there are no statements (q1346). Here, there is monthly paperwork. Minus: half an hour of your accountant's time. Plus: if somewhere the wrong category was calculated, you will see it.
When Halyk Market is worth connecting, and when it isn't
Worth it if you sell clothing, footwear, home goods or beauty products with an average check from 5,000 ₸: the fee is lower than on Kaspi, logistics is comparable, and the second channel works on the same assortment.
Worth calculating separately if you sell electronics, furniture or phones. Here the share of long installments decides the outcome. Calculate using the formula above on your own payment structure, not on the 12% rate.
Don't expect much if your main assortment is cheaper than 5,000 ₸ and sells one unit at a time. The buyer pays 900 ₸ for delivery, and your price for them comes out higher than on Kaspi.
Don't connect right now if you don't manage to accept Kaspi orders during working hours. Three working hours to accept an order and automatic cancellation with a hit to the rating require the same attention, just on a second marketplace. Common mistakes
- Comparing 12% with 12.5% and getting excited. On a phone bought on 24-month installments, the rate is 19%. From each device priced at 150,000 ₸, that is minus 9,574 ₸ compared with Kaspi.
- Forgetting that the threshold is by basket. The second T-shirt for 2,600 ₸ brought in 1,137 ₸: the rest was eaten by the 1,099 ₸ logistics that became yours.
- Copying cheap-product prices from Kaspi. A case for 3,500 ₸ costs the Halyk buyer 4,400 ₸ with delivery.
- Not asking about VAT in tariffs. If 1,099 ₸ turns out to be excluding VAT, each delivery becomes 1,275 ₸. On a hypothetical 20,000 orders a year, that is 3.5 million ₸ outside the plan.
- Leaving on Friday at 16:00. An order that arrives at 16:30 must be accepted by 11:30 on Monday. An order that nobody accepted for 5 hours will be recorded by Halyk as your cancellation.
- Putting off the reconciliation statement. It arrives by the 15th, approval is due by the 20th. After that, arguing about discrepancies will have to be done after the fact.
- Applying without OKED 47.91.0. This is a direct marketplace requirement. With another code, the application may not pass, and a week of waiting will be wasted.

Before applying:
- IP or LLP in Kazakhstan, with 47.91.0 among business activities.
- Halyk Bank account opened.
- Halyk Market Qoldau support has answered whether the fee and logistics tariff include VAT.
Before the first product card:
- For each first-level category, two rates are written down — regular and 19% for 18–24 months.
- For each third-level category, the "City" and "Intercity" tariff is found in the table to Appendix 3.
- For three to five main products, the remaining amount is calculated using the formula; for electronics, with the share of long installments.
- Products around 5,000 ₸ and 10,000 ₸ are checked separately, including a basket of two units.
After launch:
- Notifications about new orders are on, and there is someone who accepts them from 9 to 17.
- In the cash-flow plan, payouts are set as "up to three business days".
- The accountant has the 15th and 20th in the calendar.

When does Halyk Market transfer money to the seller?
With an account at Halyk Bank, no later than 18:00 on the business day following the day the product is delivered to the buyer. In the FAQ, Halyk states up to three business days after the «Завершён» ("Completed") status; there are no payouts on weekends and holidays. For products from the "Goods from Turkey" and "Goods from China" sections, within 20 days.
How is the seller rating calculated on Halyk Market?
The formula is simple: customer score × 0.8 plus Halyk Market score × 0.2. The marketplace calculates the second part for the last 180 days based on successful orders, cancellations through your fault, returns and processing speed. Buyers see the rating from the sixth approved review.
How much time do I have to accept an order on Halyk Market?
A regular order gets three working hours; express gets one hour. Hours are counted only from 9 to 17 on weekdays, so a Friday evening order will live until Monday. If you are late, the system cancels it automatically, and if the order sits unaccepted for 5 hours, it goes into the rating as your cancellation.
