SaleScout feature guide · Competitor below Min. Price
The bot never goes below your minimum price. Choose: match your minimum price, or keep your margin and compete for the next place.
PRICE RULER OF A PRODUCT CARD · MOVE COMPETITOR A’S PRICE
Competitor A can only be beaten with a price below your minimum. Your strategy kicks in.
The first competitor can be beaten without a loss. Both strategies give the same result: the bot goes for 1st place.
Compete for the next place. The bot skips competitors it can’t beat without a loss and prices one step below the first one it can beat. Your margin is kept.
Set the minimum. The bot sets exactly your minimum price and stays as close to the dumper as possible. It won’t go lower, and it can only bring the price back up with auto-raise on.

THIS IS WHERE THE FEATURE WORKS
first competitor − step
< your minimum
It can’t be beaten without a loss. This is where the bot checks your setting: skip this competitor or set the minimum.
Nothing is locked in: the bot recalculates the price on every check.
Opens the product and collects the current prices of the sellers you compete with.
Checks one by one whether “competitor − step” stays at or above your minimum price.
The first one can’t be beaten — it skips it and takes the spot in front of the next reachable one. Or sets the minimum right away.
The dumper raised the price or left the card — the bot goes for 1st place again. For the price to go back up, auto-raise has to be on.
By default the bot skips a competitor that is too cheap and keeps your price one step below the next one.
DEFAULT · ALWAYS ON
The bot skips competitors it can’t beat without a loss and prices one step below the first competitor it can beat.
REQUIRES THE FEATURE
The price immediately becomes your minimum — the lowest acceptable price for this product.
Your place is usually the same. When sorted by price, a competitor below your minimum usually stays ahead — the strategy doesn’t move you higher. The difference is the price: in the example above “Compete” keeps 400 ₸ of margin, while “Minimum” sets the lowest acceptable price and keeps you closest to the dumper.
The setting is per product, so different categories can use different strategies.
A low-margin product: there’s no point losing 400 ₸ for the same 2nd place.
A pricing mistake or the last unit in stock. In a day it’s gone, and you didn’t burn your price — with “Minimum” and no auto-raise it would have stayed down.
There are others to beat higher up — the bot takes the spot in front of the first reachable one, whether it’s 2nd place or 8th.
You’re ready to sell at it any time — there’s no reason to stay higher.
Buyers compare amounts, not places. The smaller the gap to 1st place, the better the chance they buy from you.
Clearing stock, launching a new item, collecting reviews.
First connect the “If the price drops below min. price” feature in “Functions” — it’s free. After that, each product gets a choice of two options.
In the product card. Product menu → “Competitor below Min. Price” window → “Set Min. Price” or “Compete for 2nd‑5th place”.
In bulk. Select products → “Edit” → “Competition” block → “Set minimum price”.
Via XML integration. With the isSetMinPrice field in your feed.
One setting for all cities. The strategy is set per product and applies in all its cities. The minimum price itself can differ from city to city.
Short answers on how the strategy behaves in practice.
The bot recalculates the price on every check. But it can only raise it again with auto-raise on. Without it, the price stays at the minimum even after the dumper leaves.
That’s the historical name in the interface. There’s no 2–5 limit: the bot takes the spot in front of the first competitor it can beat, whether it’s 2nd place or 8th.
It’s free. You only need to connect it in “Functions”.
Yes, the logic is the same. If a competitor’s bonus is below your minimum, “Set the minimum” sets your minimum bonus.
